no fucking shit! I've seen her show a couple of times and every time I watch it, she's ranting about how girls need to get over their negative body image, when she is largely responsible for perpetuating unfair body images in the media, i.e. the reason why low self-confidence is such a problem for a lot of women. Her hypocrisy is awe-inspiring.

For the record, watching her make an ass of herself is actually a lot more entertaining than most day time television...

Sasha Grey is a fascinating lady and I mean that not because of her porn (which is also fascinating) but her intelligence. I remember reading somewhere that Sasha described herself as the first existential porn star, to paraphrase, which is a bit of eye-rolling territory. Instead I would say she's more like the logical conclusion to third wave feminism, be that positive or negative. Whether her porn career/rhetoric is the result of honest feminist ideals or rebellion against post-feminist (and second wave conservationists by extension) is still suspect, though.

Yeah, I am a big Sasha fan. And she actually personally emailed me on myspace about 3 months ago and asked me to send her some scissor shock cd's and stuff so I handmade her a t-shirt and some other stuff to send her.
