Good one with Weezer. Blue album is in my top 5 of all time, but their latest stuff has been terrible. Pork and Beans was a cool song though.
|
Pork and beans? Hell nah man. The lyrics make me cringe. Sounds like the lyrics of a bitter 18 year old who cant make it in the biz.
But besides that, thanks. The guitar solos on Pink Triangle/The Good life are in my top 10 guitar solos of all time. |
pavement relativly speaking...westing slanted crcr wowee great albums
corners..meh terror twilight awful..... |

I agree, but I still like Brighten the Corners. I tried revisiting Terror Twilight and I just couldn't get into it all. The only track I like is Cream of Gold. Killer tune. |

Pavement is my all time favorite band, and personally Brighten is my favorite Pavement record behind Slanted. I think it's even their most consistent, since every song is either really good or awesome. Combine that with the fact that the b-sides were great (Westie Can Drum should have been on the record) and the best Terror Twilight song (The Hexx) existed during the Brighten years, plus their lives shows were the best during that era, and it becomes a true Pavement classic, or at the least very most underrated IMO. ~Jeremy~ |

Yeah, I love Talking Heads:77 though! |
Little Creatures has some worthwhile songs on it. Their last two are a definite "fuck no."
Well, aside from (Nothing But) Flowers. I like that one. |
The International Noise Conspiracsy, "A New Morning, Changing Weather" was thier last good album.
Bjork's first two albums were amazing, past that though not so much Beck up to Midnight Vultures |
How come no one else likes Midnite Vultures? ):
