Good one with Weezer. Blue album is in my top 5 of all time, but their latest stuff has been terrible. Pork and Beans was a cool song though.

I agree, but I still like Brighten the Corners. I tried revisiting Terror Twilight and I just couldn't get into it all. The only track I like is Cream of Gold. Killer tune.

BTC seems to be pretty under-appreciated. I think it's a mature album.

Pavement is my all time favorite band, and personally Brighten is my favorite Pavement record behind Slanted. I think it's even their most consistent, since every song is either really good or awesome. Combine that with the fact that the b-sides were great (Westie Can Drum should have been on the record) and the best Terror Twilight song (The Hexx) existed during the Brighten years, plus their lives shows were the best during that era, and it becomes a true Pavement classic, or at the least very most underrated IMO.
