making the blind assumption that you are genuinely asking, 95% of the people on the internet over-read intention. tone is lost, so sarcasm and dry humor become rudeness.

also, the entire internet is a curious mash-up of people who take things personally and the free-way mentality (where, safe their car, people will treat others with calloused indifference).
