I think Matt Stone and Trey Parker are comedic geniuses. Yeah some of their episodes get to be shit...but who doesn't fuck up once in a while? South Park Movie is a favorite movie of mine. I no longer have cable so I can't watch it when it's on...but THE INTERNET is now my television.

Having just watched the offending episodes, it's (typically) quite sensitive to the issues concerned. And funny. Which makes me wonder if they didn't plan this all along, and create (or encourage) a minority bunch of mentals to drum up interest.

"The Muslim World" - this phrase pisses me off so much, it suggests there isnt a massive anti-clerical movement in Iran from Iranians the same age as me and you. Iran has an extraordiary culture, when people say "The Muslim World" it suggests that the whole middle east is that backward.

Yes, Iran is a country I would like visit sometime (not in its current situation though). The protests that have been going on since the election, how long they have maintained them and the intelligence behind the techniques used (writing on the money etc) have been incredibly impressive.
