i watched the first few episodes... you have to be a fucking moron to buy that stupid shit. So yeah, never watched the series cause that show sucks big hairy balls. |
Am I the only one who noticed that the church was where the Dharma Lamp Post station was? I was wondering if they were going to go back to the Island.
And, the church scene was somewhat reminiscent of the similar scene in the Chronicles of Narnia: an afterlife where all your friends are (regardless of whether they are alive or dead). You didn't notice (or care) that Hurley told Ben 'you were a great #2' (and vice versa) when that just happened a moment before on the Island? Yeah, I thought it was a typical good show for Lost. |
This is a funny thread.

also why do people who never seen the show seem to give so much of a shit about it? seriously you havent watched it and you give an opinion based on what, your telepathic implants???? havent seen it...fine..... i havent ever seen sex in the city and dont want to either, mrs footface and her 3 ugly mother in laws dont appeal to me but im not gonna start quipping about errors in plot lines and the pathos of the next shoe shop scenes....
ITS A FUCKING TELEVISION SHOW! its not noam chomsky! sorry...rant over now! ;-) |
that's kind of a strange response pauly, because how am i not accepting that people like it? i dont care who likes it or who doesnt, i never gave any indication that i did. that doesnt bother me. i just think it was a bullshit ending and a betrayal of any of the interesting potentials it had and i was shocked at how bland and cheesy it was.
why do people feel the need to get upset and kick off about it? if i dont like it and you do why do you care? you'd almost think it was because some people can't think enough for themselves and are insecure about not liking the right things or something? is my hatred of the ending gonna ruin your enjoyment? how am i the one not "accepting" that people like it? if anything its the other way round. its the people who LIKE the show that are the ones that start attacking me personally and show the insecurity, not that its offensive, just boring. i dont give a fuck. if i like some album and other people hate it do i care? like i might defend the album but resorting to attacking people is just like childish mud flinging about who likes the cooler shit. like if someone attacks the bands you like they are somehow attacking your identity. thats lame. i dont know why i even bother writing this because this is sure a boring as shit discussion. |
as boring as the TV show

I don't either. You always have a cinder block paragraph to add to a subject you apparently considered dead I don't know how long ago. I myself enjoyed the finale. It was grand, epic, above all fitting. Not perfect though, I don't think anything will top The Wire's ending. There are some unresolved threads, but that happens in plenty of fiction, just have to get past it. |
lack of general writing skills is a plague that I plan to capitalize on.
BRING ON MORE CRAP PLZ!!! |
nik. it wasnt aimed at yourself. it was a vast general sweeping statement covering an area large as my tarring brush! i mean i do take you up on the church thing...what did you expect...wasnt that obvious???
anyhoo nik, you missed my point completely..... never mind doesnt matter. no big deal, sorry if you got the wrong end of my stick. it wasnt aimed at yourself. |
I never saw it either, but the thing I never understood is how that one character stays so fat. Is there an all-you-can-eat buffet on that island?
|
no baw big lad.
i prefer the church scene that played in my head wherein when christian opened the doors the polar bear came in and mauled them all. |
