People will loose interest in sex because of television shows, internet forums, and bad nutrition.

Within a few generations no one will be left, and insects will rule the planet.

Personally I think that humans will eventually destroy the world; using your theory or just simply by war. In the past 100 years we have had 2 world wars and invented nuclear weapons. With over 6.5 billion people living in this world, it really only takes a few people to set one off.

I know, all that crazy space stuff freaks me out. I would hate to be floating through space and start getting close to that thing. Well, I would hate to be floating through space anyways, but you know what I mean. God, I am getting chills just thinking about it...
