I've always been around dogs more, but I like all pets except reptiles, birds and spiders

"You could die and I wouldn't give a fuck till dinnertime" face. I don't know. I get that distinct feeling they think they rule the household because you feed them. A dog, on the otherhand, tells you by its affection that it's eternally grateful for all the things you do for it. And if there's one thing I can't stand, it's ungrateful bitches. (no pun intended)

I heard this a super long time ago, that if you took a dog into yr home, fed and cared for it, the attitude is "These people took me in when I was shelterless and provided for me- they must be some kind of God"*
But you do the same thing to a cat, the attitude becomes "These people took me in when I was shelterless and provided for me- I must be some kind of God."
That's the vibes I always get from each species. There's always exceptions, ofcourse, but on the whole I never get wild over cats.

*"God"'s a bit grandiose of a word, but you get the idea. "Powerful Protector" can definitely be substituted here.

I like both, my family owned a dog but I've always had a soft spot for cats.

Cats are cute , lazy , mysterious.
Dogs are ugly , noisy , dangerous .
So cats for me.

How are dogs dangerous?

I find cats to be way more violent.

Dogs kill thousands of people every year ( mostly babies ).
Dogs bite!!

Cats jump out at you and scratch you randomly, at least in my experience.

Dogs don't bite as much as cats.

i used to have and love two cats wheb i was a little kid, but then i got rwal bad allergies too them. then we got dogs. first a male shitsu named wicket (after the ewok from retyrn of the jedi, he looks just like him) who is still alive and well at 13, an english bulldog male named bentley who was my favorite but died last november at age 12, and an adorable chihuaua female who is seven. they live with my family though o i only am with them during school vacations.

I love dogs, but cats win hands down.
I practically worship my cat - he's God.

Yeah, the bastard is arrogant - so what? I love that about him. He's a whore for food also, he'll sell anyone for slavery if it means getting some grub. But he is also really affectionate. He'll jump on you and fall asleep on your chest and he always has to sleep on somebody's bed (clean sheets espeically, of course) and he always likes to be around people.
