its usually the closet gays with families that are all creepy and shit

And he's not a random dude. I'm sure his parents planned carefully to have him.
Besides, don't you have porn star pics to look at?

it was a bit of a joke
how about pics of yr son?
honestly, i just want to see what yr kids look like

sorry about the "random dude" comment.
dont know if that parent thing was a blow directed towards me, if so, thats not nice.

and no, porn sucks.

gmku 12.05.2006 01:55 AM

I know. I'm just messing with you.

I think I've got some shots of my daughter with her dog in Colorado and stuff from my son's graduation party. I'd feel creepy posting their stuff though without them knowing. I'll see if I can get them to sign release forms next time they're home.

I can only speak from my own experience. 13 seemed to be the magic moment when the pendulum began its hard arc from sweet-and-adorable to possessed-by-Satan.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 12.05.2006 02:11 AM

i dont know, it seems so cheesy and cliche
but whenever i think of life when i was a child
i think of when my whole family used to play monopoly every wednesday night
eating dinner with the whole family every night
the trips to aspen every winter break
the trips to europe, africa, and south ameirca during the summer
my dad teaching me how to swim
my dad teaching me how to play guitar
and playing songs with him before bed time
listening to records with my mom and dad in the living room while i played with toys
when my dad helped me build my first train set that one christmas
ah man, i miss those days
once i turned 14 i really just pushed away completely
then they stopped being around so much
i would skip out on the family trips cause i was a douche

damnit.
but yeah, yall get the point
i want to share all that with my kid.

Cantankerous 12.05.2006 02:14 AM

i think of my fucking dysfunctional parents and living in an apartment building owned by bosnians.

RdTv 12.05.2006 08:56 AM

I commend all for their honesty, especially gmku, you can tell he's seen it all. The throw-up doesn't really bother me yet, but like I said Vaughn is only 7 weeks there is still plenty of time.

Far as my childhood, I shouldn't complain, I mean I always had everything I needed and some of the stuff I wanted too. My dad worked a lot, so I spent most of my time with my brother and sister and my mom. Its like crypto said, once I hit like 12 or 13 I just pushed away till I was about 18. Drugs, alcohol whatever you happen to get into, it didn't seem so deliberate when I was doing it, it just seemed like something to take my mind of things. looking back, I wonder what things, what did I need to NOT worry about so much. Nothing that wasn't self inflicted I suppose.

Anyways, sorry for the Dr. Phil analysis and all, back to the parental jargon.

But there is 2 yr 7 girls, and i can see they are slowly becoming 'cool'.

As for my own childhood, so normal it was creepy. Suburban, middle class, and Catholic. Yawn.
