I reviewed an album for a well known hip hop magazine without actually listening to it. I gave it 3/5, which I'm sure was about fair.

i know someone who reviewed a stuckists show for an art magazine without having been to the show and the stuckists realised when they read his piece and now he's blacklisted from all art magazines, which sucks if you've just got your PhD in art history.
