Seriously, I am strangely fascinated by this picture... What is its appeal? Is it the slightly lopsided grin with one fang showing? The ambiguously lustrous black and white sheen of the fur? The so very, very quiescent eyes. By any chance, is this picture titled, Catatonic?

That's how I've always pictured Garfield when he gets too old to be funny anymore. Which should have been like 10 years ago.
