I like a lot of John Zorn's music. I'm not sure I can say I'm into it - free jazz that is (because I haven't really tried to learn new artists).
See, I'm stuck it this rock, punk, post-punk, mathrock rut and I'm trying to find my way out. I thought noise would help...now maybe free jazz? |

I've tried once with bands like Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, John Coltrane, but the scope of their work was to big. I guess I just backed down. Or got sidetracked by another band (most recently Deerhoof). Now I've begun trying to broaden my musical horizon again.
