Incidentally, I am a bad parent. It's 12:30am and me and my girl are watching The Wizard of Oz.

You should be ashamed;)

MellySingsDoom 04.10.2007 06:45 PM

No, Pookie, you're a GOOD parent. A good parent. They could be watching "Balmory", and we wouldn't want that, would we?

EDIT - This sounds a bit sarcastic, but it's not meant to be.

MellySingsDoom 04.10.2007 06:49 PM

What d'you know about mining? Bloody swanning off doing film courses, and watching namby-pamby new wave with a load of wine-drinking nancy boys and girls! You call that bloody work?

demonrail666 04.10.2007 06:53 PM

No, if i'm honest.

Danny Himself 04.10.2007 06:55 PM

My dad is a famous country singer, apparently. He has a myspace.

Don't worry, this one keeps coming back.

RdTv 04.11.2007 07:26 PM

Agreed. Afterthefact, is a cool dad, I've had the privilege of meeting his step-daughter and she is rad with a passion.

currently, my son's favorite band is Olivia Tremor Control and he is turning out to be a music snob just like his dad. he confided to me a few weeks ago that everyone at school listens to music that sucks. such a proud a moment.

This was a present from sonicl. At the time the picture was taken, he was tiny but now he's actually wearing it.

Great pictures, floatingslowly. You have a cool looking family, and it's good to see more sonic parents coming out of the woodwork, despite the 3-ways I was enjoying with Kegmama and RdTv.

jon boy 06.24.2007 07:46 AM

is there going to be a cutest kid competition?

jon boy 06.26.2007 03:56 AM

not mine but my neice and nephew:

Pookie 07.03.2007 03:58 AM

I can't see any of the pics posted here, because I'm at work and they seem to be blocked. But I'm sure cuteness abounds!

I'm glad your children are doing so well Kegmama. You must be so proud.

As I've probably said before, it's obvious where Kellian gets her intelligence from.

Kitty finishes her first year at pre-school soon, she has a concert to perform in this week, and next week they're having an end of year party.

She's also about to take her first ballet exam! She gets her grace and elegance from her father.

Seth is 7 months old now, and very LOUD. Fortunately it's almost always happy noises. And he sleeps virtually all the way through the night, which is a godsend, as all parents will vouch for.

I have loads of pictures, but I've mislaid the connecting cable, so I'll post some when I find it or buy a new one!

I'm off work Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week (unheard of), so weather permitting, we may do exciting things. Or if it keeps raining, it'll be lots of painting, dancing, and baking. I bought a great Dr. Seuss cookbook which Kitty and I are having lots of fun with. We haven't attempted green eggs & ham yet though.

Happy parenting everyone.

ps, how about an update from RdTv and the other sonic parents?

Pookie 07.05.2007 04:32 PM

Here's one of Seth from about a month ago:

Your tabby looks rather similar to mine, Sway. Except my little man is alot hairier and has a racoon-esque tail.

RdTv 01.05.2008 10:16 AM

Here's a good ol' bump....
Sonic parents how are your youth?
Vaughn (my son) is a riot. He's hilarious to hang out with and to parent. A few weeks ago he started walking on a constant basis, talk about entertainment. He looks like a little drunk person..its brilliant. Anyways so far in his 15 months of life he's been well and hasnt been sick but once.
here's a photo from about 3 or 4 months ago...

I just saw this. There's no pics of our family. That guy dancing with my boy is none other than Wayne "douchebag" coyne.

floatingslowly 01.05.2008 01:50 PM

I'm really sorry.

Do you think she'll be happy years from now to realize you've posted her image on the World Wide Web for all to see?

what a stupid thing to say.

gmku 01.06.2008 10:59 AM

Well, fuck you, too...

She's 3. She's not in a position to give permission to have her photos spread across the Internet. The world is full of predators. I frankly think it's a little irresponsible. That's my opinion, and I don't think it's stupid.

Cantankerous 01.06.2008 12:02 PM

you know what? it's his kid, leave him alone. i wouldn't do it personally but whatever, i'm in no position to be judgemental. if i do recall, sir, you had a picture of my cookie monster underwear stashed away in your photobucket some time ago so i don't think you're in any position to be judgemental either.

by the way, afterthefact, your kid's cute.

gmku 01.06.2008 12:07 PM

My lord, the hate today...

!@#$%! 01.06.2008 12:10 PM

as long as he doesn't say his whereabouts and where she goes to school and draw the floorplan of the house pointing her room and how to crack open the window i think it's fine-- the interneck is full of baby pictures

sarramkrop 01.06.2008 12:13 PM

Yeah, that was pretty good, Porkie. I like the smouldering baby blues, myself, and the way she bites her lip.

gmku 01.06.2008 12:26 PM

I should explain, I've had some issues with this kind of thing--acquaintances of acquaintances, parents who enter their 3-yr-old in beauty contests. It nauseates me.

sarramkrop 01.06.2008 12:26 PM

Someone should photoshop her into one of crypto's pics.

Yeah, if you haven't noticed, that's sort of what this thread is about...
