He had another album from the Yeezus sessions mixed and ready for mass production in June of 2013! Why the hell did that never surface? And remember back in August when it was "definitely coming soon. As early as September" of 2014?

I know it's frustrating... REALLY FUCKING FRUSTRATING... but Kanye's never gone more than 2 years and a couple of weeks between albums if you include WTT and Cruel Summer... Round about mid-July he'll be breaking that record if he doesn't drop something SOON.

I refuse to believe that Ye would keep audiences waiting much longer. The album is almost certainly finished. I heard he sent in the final version like, back in November, but in Feb. it was "80%" ... Whole lotta contradicting information here, but sometimes he fucks around in the last few weeks before a drop.

If he doesn't drop an album in 2015, knowing full well that he has at least 2 albums worth of material in the can, he's going to lose momentum in a way he never has before. All that hype after the BRIT awards, when All Day was blowing up all over the fuckin planet... why didn't he drop it then? Because he's either lost his shit, or he knows the perfect time isn't quite here.

Don't get me wrong, I like Vince a lot. Loved (LOVED) Hell Can Wait. One of 2014's most unexpectedly relentless tapes.

I'm just saying in a year where Kanye, A$AP, Drake (I think Views will be out by October personally... "OVO" and whatnot), Frank Ocean and so many other heavy hitters are dropping new albums, I can't imagine how a relative newb like Vince can be the star of the show for anyone. But who am I to judge? I'm def looking for that Vince Staples too. Loved Hell Can Wait. He showed incredible restraint on there, which I admire. He could have came w/ a major label debut that was y'know 79 minutes, 59 seconds... but instead did an EP that was all awesome and solid. That shows the care and thought put into his craft.

I was listening to some stuff yesterday, and I actually feel like B4.DA.$$ and Mr. Wonderful are prob my 2 favorite hip hop albums so far this year. Which is weird to say since Ghostface and Kendrick both dropped albums.

At any rate, Rocky & Kanye will surely change that I'd imagine.

it could be a classic major label debut by a West Coast rapper like good kid m.A.A.d city and My Krazy Life. no one actually saw how good they were going to be. of course it could also end up being a huge letdown like Oxymoron. but the potential is definitely there.

just finished listening to Magna Carta for the first time in a while. only song i can't stand is the first one with Timberlake. such a nice album.
