Well that turned into a waste of time. Arsenal decided to swing their dick and have signed him. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose comes to mind right now.

It'll be both Lukaku and Barkley go in the summer and some ok signings come in and that's it.

It wasn't meant as an insult at all. I actually have a great affection for betting shops, Gregg's, Rothmans Blues, and all the other things I mentioned.

Which makes me think Wenger will be staying. Who'd sign to a club without knowing who'll be managing them?

from schalke to arsenal it's a much bigger paycheck and exposure

h8kurdt 04.15.2017 08:44 AM

That Harry Kane, ey?

If he stays at Tottenham he could easily end beating Alan Shearer's top goalscorer record. Especially when you consider he's only 23.

I was thinking about watching that but decided against it.

Bloody hell West Ham! Sunderland are one team who can't buy a win or draw lately and West Ham decide to be nice and give them a 2-2 draw.

West Ham have twice been thwarted in their efforts to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, vice-chairwoman Karren Brady has revealed.

Lukaku could leave Goodison Park this summer, possibly after he completes a Golden Boot-winning season, but Brady says he only wants to join a team that can guarantee Champions League football.

The Belgium international has continued his prolific goal-scoring form from 2015-16 this season, and his 23 goals are four better than closest challenger for top scorer honours, Tottenham's Harry Kane.
That has led to regular media speculation about his future at Everton, with Chelsea and Manchester United among clubs rumoured to be preparing summer offers for him.

West Ham have struggled for goals this season - Michail Antonio is the club's top scorer with nine goals - and Brady said in her column for The Sun that Lukaku was among the players they had made a move for.

She wrote: "Romelu Lukaku is a classic shape for a centre-forward - big, broad and decisive.

"Not all strikers are built like Everton's star - take Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. None are as important as Lukaku is to Everton"

"We have twice tried to buy him but he wants a club playing Champions League football - and quickly.

"You can't dismiss his ambition but it's a shame he regards such an admirable club as little more than a stop-over."

Swerve it Brady, you Tory-backing knobhead.

i think it's best that i don't figure it out, lol

Pookie 04.15.2017 11:09 AM

I don't even bother with that. I keep it simple with both teams to score, or whichever team to win.

so bayern munich showing an interesting formation today-- not pep-strange just looking at personnel

kimmich in for xabi alonso right next to vidal

thiago as playmaker

mueller as lone centerforward

kinda similar to the madrid game but not really

!@#$%! 04.15.2017 11:48 AM

ha ha ha ha

so far they seem jammed up, yeah

also rafinha for lahm, robbenry resting so you have coman and costa instead

i think you're gonna lose your money though ha haha

i can see this being a tie but not a zero-goal game

leverkusen has aggressive counters and should they score ancelotti will compensate

Zindane rested Ronaldo, Bale AND Benzema. Oh and Modric.

It's gonna be an interesting game on Tuesday.
