Jeez, I feel like I'm gabbing now so apologies in advance.

Interesting that Wenger went for the now de rigueur of three at the back then says "Yes, it is the first time in 20 years. That shows you that even at my age, you can change,". Aye, 6 months after seemingly everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.

Weird how something like formation is subject to trends and the like. Look forward to Guardiola having 'brainwave' of 4-4-2 in a couple of years.

The problem will be who's available to them. Plus every team will know they've got lots of dosh burning a hole in their pocket so are guaranteed to inflate prices when dealing with them.

Anyway, Lukaku leaving Everton is great news for West Ham. Even in a dry spell, he ALWAYS scores against us. If we bought him the fucker would probably open his account with an own goal, just out of habit.

Head says Bayern-Real, heart says Leic-Atletico.

I think the heart's winning out on this one.

That sounds to me like a code for "I'm staying'

Yeah, like an ironic postmodern retro-formation. Probably have his players train with an orange mitre and wearing 80s-era disco shorts.

Which is why Walsh is a great signing. He's the one who got Mahrez, Kante and Vardy et. al to Leicester.

Haha bring those total leave-nothing-to-the-imagination shorts back

!@#$%! 04.18.2017 01:33 PM

watching the warmups they have on a bayern is wearing white. wtf kind of omen is this?

an also madrid in blue, chelsea-looking.

im confused

--

well actually i've been confused all day so i don't blame the tv

madrid bitches are booing bayern lineup

fuckem

--

ETA: oh yeah they have the right shirts now lol

!@#$%! 04.18.2017 02:26 PM

bayern on the defense looks nervous so far. a bunch of little stupid mistakes

on the offense even though they're the one who need to score they have created less danger than madrid

--

and alaba shoots the moon. literally.

!@#$%! 04.18.2017 02:39 PM

the other thing i've noticed is that madrid attacks in pairs or trios, whereas when bayern counters it's just a lonely individual with no support vs 4 defenders. the latter method never bodes well.

--

if this were a boxing match madrid would be ahead on points

The Soup Nazi 04.18.2017 02:55 PM

All right Lewandowski! Now we just need one more, King Arthur!

!@#$%! 04.18.2017 04:04 PM

well. fuck. i'm not sure. bayern fought well. some unlucky calls, and that little 7 sonofabitch as usual with his insufferable ways.

damn.

i'm not sore about it. or so i'd like to think.

--

except for that last goal. now i'm sore. shit.
