They're ruined, from top to bottom I only hope Pep shows some humility at the weekend because if Everton can put 4 past us, what could DeBruyne, Sterling, Silva, Sane, Jesus, Aguero do if they're let off the leash?

And what made last night even worse was seeing Big Sam there, with his trademark smirk, loving every minute of it. Ordinarily I'd wish Everton well but seeing Sam lose his record for keeping teams up will likely be the only pleasure I'll get this season. And god only knows what state we'll be in next season.

Yeah, I do wonder if Moyes thought that he was getting a similar situation as he did with Everton when he joined. All the potential to actually push higher than expected and the like. I will say that Moyes should have had a longer break away from football. This isn't going to do his credibility any favours at all. If you were Moyes what would you do?

Hahahaha yeah, I know the feeling. Kinda like seeing an ex on a night out and she's acting like she's queen bee.

Man City win. Again. With a stupidly late winner. Again. Forget Fergie time, it's now Guardiola time!

Heh. In other news, Gerardo "Tata" Martino has been offered the Chilean national team and apparently he hasn't definitively said yes or no yet, because he's waiting for —get this, Symbols— the U.S. Soccer Federation to offer him the United States national team, which he would prefer.

!@#$%! 11.30.2017 03:43 PM

i hope he comes here because i still believe klinsmann had the right diagnostic— ‘murka needs to take it to the next level.

klinsi’s problem i believe was with the execution— on the one hand he never consolidated an actual squad that was capable of achieving his wishes, and on the other hand when under pressure he retreated to basic tactics.

martino could have the chance to take a young squad and shape them into something more functional. but, you know— a squad, not a permanent tryout.

he fucked up a bit with argentina though so who knows. but team usa could use a bit of “latin flair,” as they say.

he’s in atlanta now but i’ve never seen that team. not even heard of it actually ha ha ha

Oh, and speaking of this shit, how about the following: Pizzi is going to the World Cup after all... as Saudi Arabia's coach! The fuckin' weasel!

!@#$%! 11.30.2017 04:51 PM

eh, why not, he got you 2 copa américas right? or was the first sampaoli?

he didn’t peddle drink to your superstars— they did that shit on their own

The anger from the fans is almost entirely aimed at the board and the players. Not that Moyes doesn't deserve some of the criticism for last night but I think everyone knows now that the rot goes much deeper than the manager.

I'm not sure it's even worth wondering what he should do. Showing the door to Carroll, Ogbonna and Kouyate would be a start, I suppose, but who'd wanna come in to replace them? We're linked with Ben Arfa. Great, like the one thing west ham needs right now is another lazy prima donna. Just as well Berbatov's retired or we'd probably be after him, too.

Spurs are apparently interested in Lanzini, maybe the only player Moyes should put any effort into keeping. Besides him, I wouldn't care if they were all sacked and replaced by the u23s, who actually aren't that bad.

Zero, dude. That's just how these stars roll.

h8kurdt 12.01.2017 11:25 AM

Group A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, Egypt.
Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran
Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark.
Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria
Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia.
Group F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea
Group G: England, Tunisia, Panama, Belgium
Group H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan

Where's U.S.A on here? Oh, silly me I forgot!

Looking at the groups there's none really enticing. MAYBE group D could be a good one. Either way I'll be watching them and praying it's a decent world cup.

!@#$%! 12.01.2017 11:36 AM

group a is fucking garbage. uruguay best win it with 9 points and mega-goal difference
portugal v spain should be fun. how’s morocco?
c looks competitive for 2nd place, thinking france to win it
d same thing w/ argentina tops if they get their fucking shit together
e: could cr suprise? hm...
f: poor mexico always having to go against germany! it’s a curse
g: england got a gift in that group
h: how is senegal? that could also be a nice contest

where’s usa lol you bastard. usa is where it deserves to be today.

Inexplicably, I didn't answer the second question yesterday: yes, Sampaoli was the coach on the first one. On the Copa Centenario the team was still on the Bielsa-style Sampaoli rush, but I give Pizzi credit for a key incident during the final: 28 minutes in Marcelo Díaz got his second yellow card. 11 players to 10, Argentina went full-on destructo mode, and under those circumstances ANY other manager in the world would have sacrificed one of Chile's three strikers to rebuild the midfield. But Pizzi held in there and whaddayaknow, two minutes before the end of the first half Marcos Rojo kicked Vidal from behind and got sent off. You know the rest.

I look at England's players individually and see Belgium as the only real obstacle. Then I think about them in England shirts, in a big tournament and my optimism dissolves.

Also, bookies are currently offering the same odds on WH winning by any score today as the are MC winning 6-0.

We've been stung too many times. I'm just a shell of a man when it comes to internationals optimism.

As for those odds for West Ham to win I'd actually say that's pretty low!

Meanwhile in the Serie A, Juventus beat Napoli 1-0. That puts Juventus one point behind Napoli who are in first place. Let's just hope Napoli can keep their nerve. I really, really, REALLY hope Juventus don't win the league a-fucking-gain.

h8kurdt 12.03.2017 01:31 PM

So that Adrian, ey? Clearly an up and coming player who could be something ;) Think all that performance by him does is raise the question why has it taken this long for him to play in the league this season?? And all cos Hart couldn't play against City.

And you know what? Hart'll still be England number 1. Total joke.

Feel a bit more optimistic after that performance, Demo?

demonrail666 12.03.2017 11:42 PM

Happy they lifted themselves but frustrated the players can turn it on and off like that. We need 10 wins to probably secure safety, and I just can't see us getting them.

I like Adrian. He makes mistakes but so does Hart. He deserves a run but I'm sure the owners will insist Hart remains our #1. Butland should be England's #1.

Big result for Everton. I think you'll be OK.

Boy did Everton play West Ham at the right time! A great win for or West Ham there.

Joe Hart must be feeling miserable after being dropped for that game. Not like he hasn't deserved it though
