Is there anyone else except NR that actually likes Death Proof? All my buddies liked it but it was not my thing.

The car chase at the end was good. Not quite Mad Max levels of good but still good.

well I assume that Tarantino likes it. But it might just be me and him. I don't care though. I love it. Oh wait, my brother loved it too. I forgot about that. So there's three of us. My wife likes it. But she doesn't love it. So four. That's the final headcount I think.

i watched it again recently and enjoyed it far more the second time around.

I just think it's a really fun film. I tend to watch it a couple of times when the weather first gets hot. I also tend to listen to the soundtrack A LOT during the Summer months. (There's a handful of CD's that my wife and I tend to listen to every Summer driving around from yardsale to yardsale and this sndtrk is one of them) Just reminds me of a fun shitty b-movie a la USA Up All Night (a comparison I've made in this thread probably a half-dozen times already, so sorry if you've already heard it...).

I like it a lot, verbose retro junk with nice photography.

Obviously they have better things to do.... but it's funny that they could conceivably turn the Fox network into the "*insert name* humilationg network", buy every broadcasting medium in the universe, and have the same humiliating 20 seconds of your life playing 24/7, forever.
