There's something wrong with me, over the past two years I have slowly become obsessed with Animal Collective.

Right now I'm trying to relive their concert by listening to a recording of them at the Variety Playhouse in ATL back in March. My god. They scare the shit out of me and turn me on at the same time.

On another note... I listened to Brian Wilson's SMILE for the first time the other day, and suddenly i finally realized why people compare animal collective to the beach boys. The only thing I ever got that was similar before was the vocal play.
