Hell yes. I wanted to beat Brood War (which I've never done) before this came out, I don't know if it's going to happen. But definitely pumped for this.


This is game is so cool. I always played GZA and Deck. Never did beat it, I thought that guy at the end was really hard. Great game.

I love how its extremely mature, and cyberpunk themed
and the soundtrack, man what a gem. on DOS (thanks for DOSBox, developers)

If yer able to get a cyclone there I highly suggest it. I mean...you pay it off in like 3 DS games and you still have 300+ other games to put on that shiz....

I never really did too much of the campaign. I mean I did most of the Terran and Protoss campaigns but I don't ever remember finishing them. I play online a lot with my friends. I suck though... But we also played a lot of edited gametypes(only on brood war). man....Brood War was installed so much on my last comp...then I just lost the CD's...

but I am not aware of the newer phantasy star games. to be honest I never played one from the series, one of the few sega franchises Ive missed. still got a boxed copy of the gba PS collection lying around which screams to be played

that's how I got into the series. I got the GBA collection and I beat the first game. It was amazing. It was one of those games where you're like proud of yrself for beating it haha. So that made me really love the series.

Phantasy Star Online series is MMO style.

the first hour is slightly boring leveling up... but after that it's like "WHAAAT???? HOW WAS THIS GAME 8-BIT???? IT'S TOOOO AMAZING!"

in which way? storywise?

everyway. It's a huge game. I mean the "world" is really really huge. The items and transportations and spells and weapons and etc is huge. The graphics are incredible. I mean really varied and detailed. There's animations that are like "no way!".... it's just that based on the amount of detail and size of the game, it really kind of blows FF1 and Dragon Warrior 1 away for that time. It's sick. And it combines elements from so many places (Star Wars, Dune, Greek mythology, dungeons & dragons) etc. And the dungeons are 3D first person. You WILL NEED MAPS. Trust me.

which one Gail? The first one? Which version, do you know? The remake of the first one on Gamecube still actually makes me jump at parts. Great game.

Here they just called the remake Reisdent Evil. There was no like subtitle to denote that it was a remake. But the remake is amazing I think. I wouldn't be able to go back to the PS1 version now.

nope, every game is called Resident Evil here. the remake is called RE Rebirth, yes!
I forgot about the Biohazard titles everywhere else.
Resident Evil is such a stupid name though, even for the first one where it fit to the context, everybody was making jokes about it, even germans. who arent known for their good english knowledge I think

I wouldn't say it too hard, but the managing typewriter ribbons is a jerk. I'm glad they ditched that later in the series.

you have to burn them yes. if not they will become crimson zombies which are pretty annoying and fearsome timeeaters
