My creative writing teacher told me I should become a novelist after reading a poem that I wrote. It made me happy, even if the compliment really was unfounded (poetry=/=prose)

I really struggle writing stories and long literature, so I think it would be good practice for me.

I struggle writing any prose to be honest. We are going to write short stories later on this year in that class, so I'll be glad to have an incentive to finish a story. I already have a lot of ideas (all ideas that relate to the story I want to write) cooked up in my head, so I'm excited about it.
