Have we got certain criteria by which to make these judgements? Skill, stage presence, experimentation, nice ass, best mullet?

I always thought if Slash had a couple of hot oil treatments, he could do Pantene commercials.

Savage Clone 04.27.2006 02:37 PM

I always thought slash would look great locked inside an iron maiden.

Funny, I always thought Steve Harris and Slash would look great locked together...

i think i'll just post my favorite reggae guitarists, so as not to confuse myself with a seemingly endless list....

peter tosh and earl "china" smith and the most outrageous and technically proficient guitar players in reggae, period.

Like you don't live in a constant state of arousal.
You can't blame me.

I'm not the one who needs to surround myself with interactive genitals.

James Iha was always great. He's really psychedelic, man. He plays toy rayguns through his pickups. What a legend.

Danny Himself 04.27.2006 05:13 PM

Oh, and Nigel Tufnel.

Jimmy Page was a big influence on me. His playing got me into guitar.
Now my main influences are Thurston and Lee. I've tried so many different tunings and different ways of playing guitar (using a screwdrive/drumstick) because of them.

Proud Marie 04.27.2006 05:23 PM

Some great ones i havent seen listed so far:
Steve Howe
Mark Knopfler
Dave Navarro

Pax Americana 04.27.2006 08:40 PM

Thurston, Lee, Joey Santiago, Greg Ginn, East Bay Ray... probably more.
Ray was really awesome, fast and inventive and you never really hear anything about him.

Drugstore_Cowboy 04.27.2006 09:10 PM
