oh, crime & punishment for the win-- nice!!

apparently, either nigella's boobs are failing to do the trick, or everyone already has a copy of it, or england does not appreciate my prose-- i think it's the last.

Unfortunately the hardback of Nigella's book came out just before Christmas, so a lot of people bought it then.

Don't give up hope though, it's early days.

to be perfectly honest, im happier for the success of crime and punishment than i'd be for some pop book, nigella or no nigella.

and the food book that's closest to my heart is brillat-savarin's "the phisiology of taste", actually. what a pleasure to read.

Nigella writes cook books and not pop books. If your remark was directed at my recommendation, little unemployed sack of poo, go and read it first, then you'll realize that it's written better than a lot of novels. Fight?

SynthethicalY 05.19.2007 11:52 AM

I feel better, that I at least sold one.

!@#$%! 05.19.2007 11:56 AM

hm, if we're stiking with english classics, wuthering heights is better than dorian gray. but dorian gray is shorter, and an easy read, while the other one rambles at length.

SynthethicalY 05.19.2007 12:02 PM

Can I put this one for the next one?
