well thank you. you've got a good head on your shoulders too!

"adult life" + no real responsibilities = awesome

MellySingsDoom 08.09.2008 12:59 AM

"adult life" + work = Blaaaah.

You should come and join my team at work - a right good laugh we have, and you'd love my mate Fiona - she's super-sweet.

Cantankerous 08.09.2008 01:00 AM

i would fuck off and sleep on my desk all day, would that be acceptable?

if you have comfy chairs i'll do it.

MellySingsDoom 08.09.2008 01:04 AM

Oh yes - we call that "thinking" at work. We have very comfy chairs. You and me could spend the day posting on the SY Board, and then go to Balans (great gay-run restaurant) for lunch and drinkies. After work? Off to Trash Palace with Porky.

Cantankerous 08.09.2008 01:06 AM

we could post back and forth to each other in the same room

trash palace and melly and porky is a win-win-win situation

MellySingsDoom 08.09.2008 01:08 AM

Yay!!! *orgnanises Cantanky-desk next to mine, asks work to get in new coffee machine and bottles of Jack Daniels*

Cantankerous 08.09.2008 01:12 AM

oh yeah. you may want to mention to them that i'll probably drink on the job if that's okay. don't be surprised if i fire up a doobie in the office either.

MellySingsDoom 08.09.2008 01:14 AM

Ha ha! Your doobie-rolling skills would be very popular on my floor at work :) The only requirement on my team is that you have to be witty and fun 24/7, which you pass with flying colours, of course.

stu666 08.09.2008 04:34 AM

i was a bit naughty at school and got expelled @ 15 for head butting the P.E teacher, then i started the university of life

terriblecanyons 08.09.2008 04:57 AM

Nice job pulling a Zidane, stu666.

MellySingsDoom 08.09.2008 04:59 AM

terriblecanyons - have sent you a MySpace request

stu666 - you carried out every schoolkid's dream. Respect due!

stu666 08.09.2008 04:59 AM

i kind of wish i had finished school now though, but you can't turn back time so....

Toilet & Bowels 08.09.2008 05:33 AM

i went to art school, it was a bag of shite

Derek 08.09.2008 08:07 AM

I want to major in writing/journalism/whatever when I leave school in 2 years. I keep having second thoughts, what happens when I go through all the work of getting the degree and then end up with a shitty office job?

the ikara cult 08.09.2008 08:10 AM

Ive just graduated in Psychology, and now im spending my time on here because noone wants to employ me. I thought it was Art and Philosophy that were supposed to turn you into a lazy waster?

pantophobia 08.09.2008 08:35 AM

i decided not to go to community college, i remember not testing well on my psat in 10th grade then i dropped out (went back though) but after doing some more testing and touring the local campus, i was not enthralled or interested, and with my learning disabilites and other shit i didn't want to even try

lately everybody says i should enroll in a culinary school, and it's really getting on my nerves, i show a little interest in cooking and mixing drinks and work at an ice cream store and suddenly i wanna become a career chef? oy

i just wanted to get an older persons perspective on this, did you go to uni or college?, or not?

do you regret going or not going?

what would you do if you were me?

Well, i went to Art School instead, but not to study photography. I'm doing a BA in Fine Art in this beautiful building
