I suppose you donīt like also such great artist as the Stooges, Velvet Underground, the Doors and Jimi Hendrix because they started their career before you was born.
To me it doesnīt matter, when music has made. I like a lot some classic music eventhough most of it has made a hundred years before I was born. I also like Django Reinhardt, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Eddie Cochran eventhough their best music has made decades before I was born.
Of course you have to limit your music some way, because there is lots of good music in the world. But I donīt think the age is good princible. I think most of the todayīs world problems is caused when people donīt nowdays understand entities. And if you want to understand some entity, you must know something about itīs history. Of course you donīt have to listen anything for that sake, to me the only thing that is important in music is that it moves me strongly. In my opinion in old music is much more feelings than the most of the new music.
