Combined with the Video clip its a pretty powerful track. When the first 'Wonder how it came to be my friend" comes along, theres a slo-mo of the band waving their guitars together which gets me all emotional for some reason.

Cat Power's King Rides By is a pretty emotional track.

In addition to that, "Circle" by Miles Davis from Miles Smiles is probably the most beautiful performance ive ever heard, always stirs the emotions

The Undertones - Teenage Kicks
Joy Division - Atmosphere

whenever I hear these now it reminds me of John's funeral :(

and you'll never walk alone.

The Hollies - Jesus Was A Crossmaker

It's kinda beautiful, mostly because I listened to it around a period in my life when a relative died. Everytime I hear it I think of the funeral, which btw was my first and sofar only one (no, I'm not fishing for sympathy).

The Sleepwalker by Cat Power makes me sentimental

hipster_bebop_junkie 09.08.2011 01:07 PM

Due to the circumstances in which they were recorded, and the tragic end, Johnny Cash's "American Recordings V: A Hundred Highways" and "American Recordings VI: Ain't No Grave" aren't exactly easy to listen to without being touched by the grim, raw emotion of the songs.

I don't cry.

This song makes me nostalgiac, especially as I'm getting older. Stiffer. More aches.

"Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley, which is supposed to have the opposite effect. My wife used to sing it to my son, and now that she's gone, it kills me to hear it.

demonrail666 09.11.2011 12:37 PM

Sigur Ros - Samskeyti

SONIC GAIL 09.11.2011 01:55 PM
