i record all of my shit in my computer (yeah, my fred flinstone computer) and everyone tells me it sounds analogue, both bands.

and phones, i have two cellphones that hardly make one if put together but they are off for all i care as i never use them unless i have to.

Mp3s suck. The hack compression used completely fuckes up the sound. It's not a problem for loud stuff, but any music which uses dynamic range (like classical or jazz) will sound crap. This I believe. DON'T you fucking roll yr eyes like that - I'm serious!

I record to the computer, but... well, with Robe., we record to video camera vhs tape and audio tape usually.. or we'll have two computers set up and a video camera and we'll set them up close to each individual instrument.. so it's still capturing one instrument mainly but it picks up the other ones as well.. with scissor shock, it's mainly recorded to the computer though I try to do most of the guitar stuff in one take through a 4 track to give it a less digital sound.
