I would shit my pants if I had to bike in the city. Country biking is where it's at.

I've cycled around London for, ooh, 15 years now, so am well used to it. Still have to be very careful though when out and about - London drivers can be rather aggressive at the best of times.

Sometimes. I realized that they stupidly decided to not make any busses from Aylmer to Ottawa on Sunday morning and I have work. Now I'm biking to Elgin from here. Country biking is nice when you don't have to be somewhere at a specific time

I love urban bicycle riding. Not on a busy industrial street and such, but like on Manhattan along the waterfront or many of the streets. I have no problems and will jump up on the sidewalk when I like or ride the wrong way down one-way streets when I get the urge. I like the challenge.

And remember...

as a bicyclist, we have an inherent right to be on the road, a motorist merely has a granted privilege that can be revoked at any time. This fact blows a motorists' mind when I tell them of such.

Inhuman, do you ever go to the Elgin Street Dinner? 24 hour, good food, and nice people, I wish I lived closer so I could go all the time haha.

I know that cyclists are allowed to be on the road, I just find it rude that a lot of them think they can do whatever they want (not all of them though ;)). All the bikers out here in the country will just make turns right in front of your car without giving you any kind of notice. I always feel like yelling at them and telling them we could have run them the fuck over.

You're allowed on the road, but the road isn't yours and yours alone.
