He already had commented that he realizes the tone here, in general, isn't serious. It's his entire basis for posting the topic.

Yeah I know he already made that point, atari. I was also making a similiar but unrelated point in the middle of the thread. I already replied to him about 4 pages ago regarding his original post.

I don't need to point out the obvious, though, do I? Of course not. However, some people are taking this thread seriously... so, I made an observation or two regarding the state of this board. It doesn't mean anything.

to them, the internet is a serious medium for communicating serious thoughts to other serious minded individuals and having them reply to you in a serious and well thought out manner. any deviation from this is a serious infraction.

I don't think any criticism of this board is undermined by either a) a high number of posts or b) a low number. The above is an astute observation whatever the weather, as it would be if I made it.
