I think for a many of us at some point in time any band that doesn't rock becomes boring. This usually happens after you listen to them enough for the initial '' I've never heard this before blah blah blah'' wears off.

the white stripes were fucking boring when they followed the stooges in concert (2006).
Jack saved face by apologising to the crowd after their second song. |

sigur ros seems boring to me, although i didn't get to listen to too much of their stuff cause it was putting me to sleep.

In the right mood elliot smith is brilliant, and some of his song structures are perfect pop. Othertimes I want to stab him in the chest for being such a p...oh...wait.

Ghastly City Sleep are a really good post-rock band though. |
sometimes a band get's really boring though if all they do is rock the same shit. Sometimes I want to see if they have talents to adapt to other styles. Like the falls' "living too late"
|
living too late is a bit different for them but it still sounds like the fall, which is good.
ac/dc are boring in that every song on every album is the same song. i still like em. |
^^yes, it was the most recent example.
I like bands that can rock hard, or sing ballads, or do any style really, but still maintain their grativas. John Lennon was good at doing that. Paul was not. |
the fucking Red Hot Chili Peppers
