wow, greenlight posted something non-related to Sonic Youth.
welcome to the world of useless chit-chat :)

Trasher02 12.24.2009 10:21 AM

I saw it a couple of days ago and to be honest I was pretty dissapointed. The 3D effect were cool in the first half hour but didn't impress me anymore after that. I actually liked the 3D effects in the trailers better then in the movie. The dialogues were just flat out awful. I mean, I knew it would be some cheesy hollywood story but 2h40min of whining is just too much for me. Too much hype in my humble opinion

Only if you're an idiot.

nicfit 12.24.2009 03:20 PM

I like how Keeping It Simple changed his/her attitude towards quite a lot of posters on this board after he/she realized all the continued brownnosing couldn't win him/her the hearts of syg ladies.
That user note from Satan must have clicked something quite deep in that mind.

It seems satan's user note mentally effected you a lot more than it was supposed to have effected me. It's clear you take user notes a lot more seriously than most of the others.

Oh, I'm never angry. And "effected" is perfectly fine. :)

Main Entry: 2effect
Function: transitive verb
Date: 1533
1 : to cause to come into being
2 a : to bring about often by surmounting obstacles : accomplish <effect a settlement of a dispute> b : to put into operation <the duty of the legislature to effect the will of the citizens>
synonyms see perform
usage Effect and affect are often confused because of their similar spelling and pronunciation. The verb 2affect usually has to do with pretense <she affected a cheery disposition despite feeling down>. The more common 3affect denotes having an effect or influence <the weather affected everyone's mood>. The verb effect goes beyond mere influence; it refers to actual achievement of a final result <the new administration hopes to effect a peace settlement>. The uncommon noun affect, which has a meaning relating to psychology, is also sometimes mistakenly used for the very common effect. In ordinary use, the noun you will want is effect <waiting for the new law to take effect> <the weather had an effect on everyone's mood>.
Dunno, seems a bit different to me .
I always thought "affect" to be more apt for situation regarding feelings/emotions and all that stuff.
Merry Christmas!
You seemed a bit angry in some threads.
But who cares, I'm outta here. Have fun guys!

ps: googlin' for "mentally effected" gave me almost 0 results http://www.google.com/search?q=mentally+effected , while "mentally affected" seems to be pretty common...now, this interests me a bit, coz I use "affected" quite a lot and I don't want to misuse it.

I never lose my rag when I'm on the net. It's the net! The net is a playground never to be taken seriously. If I took it as seriously as some others do, I wouldn't be on it.

pbradley 12.24.2009 05:30 PM

You take it seriously enough to criticize the spelling and grammar of others and, yet, the 'net' isn't a serious enough place for you to hold yourself by your own standards.

I've always wondered how out and out hypocrites deal with themselves. I suppose this gives me some valuable insight.

I enjoy staring at, and poking with long sticks, the lunatics who frequent the net. One can easily liken to what I do to what Londoners did when visiting The Bethlem Royal Hospital of London, especially Bedlam. They were charged a penny. I get to do it for free. You should feel privileged I liken you to a lunatic from Bedlam. :)

nicfit 12.24.2009 05:48 PM

Till your dad kicks you out for pissing in his mugs :D?

If anything, you're the most deluded nut in the whole asylum.

DeadDiscoDildo 12.24.2009 06:24 PM

True.

Yr as bad as Jim Carey's Riddler thinking He's Batman.

Deal with that!
