this is an interesting thread.... it's funny to see what y'all don't like.

for some reason i've always felt slightly out of place for not being able to stand bob dylan. i don't know why, i'm not ashamed, just feel like so many people i know who like good music also like him and i just DONT GET IT. AT ALL.
i never really got spiritualised either, or radiohead. not through any dislike (as in dylan dislike) but because i could just never get into them.
there are others too but i can't be bothered right now

^ That's a great one! I always feel like, I can see why people like Dylan but I just don't get much from him personally.

Dylan annoys me also. He's past his time anyway.

I was never heavily into Radiohead, despite owning four of their albums. OK Computer is fantastic to listen to on cold days though.

The Clash. I really don't mind London Calling all that much, but I can't seem really "like" them

I never got into the Pixies.

No Neck Blues Band. I just can't get into it.

Edit: It is of my personal opinion that if you don't like the Pixies, you have no soul, but that's just me.

I feel the same about Spiritualized. In my heart I really want to like them, and I've tried several times, but they've never really grabbed me by the balls. This turned out to be a terrible mistake a few years ago when Sonic Youth supported Spiritualized at the Royal Festival Hall, as I left, bored, during Spiritualized and therefore missed the SY / Spiritualized jam-fest that made up the encore to their set :(

I never got into Smiths. Don't know why, kept playing their records over and over again but just seemed utterly boring to me.

Maybe because I never really listen to lyrics.
