Reissuing the back catologue sounds great, the only EN albums that seem to be available anywhere are Kollaps through to Haus der Luege.

I went without listening to them for months, so today I listened to Haus der Luege, it's still my favourite album ever. And the guitar solo in Der Kuss is the best.

Again me, can anyone upload a live DVDRIP of Einstürzende Neubauten???

MellySingsDoom 07.16.2009 02:58 PM

I'd just like to say that Neubauten's version of Hazlewood and Sinatra's "Sand" is simply wonderful.

Diesel 07.16.2009 05:57 PM

Hell, yeah!

PAULYBEE2656 07.26.2009 04:11 AM

morning dew is even better tho... that intense verse with blixa sounding like a demented kettle overboiling sends shudders up my spine everytime... fantastic artist!

dirty bunny 08.03.2009 12:29 AM

I need to get some more stuff by this band. Anyone know a good album to start with?

Death & the Maiden 08.03.2009 02:18 AM

Haus der Luege is my favourite album ever, but I don't think it'd be what you'd expect. Halber Mensch was my first, and probably is a good mix between what they're known for and accessible songs.

dirty bunny 08.03.2009 01:34 PM

OK thanks :D

batreleaser 08.04.2009 09:28 AM

its pretty hard to go wrong with any early industrial. i love neuuten but they dont even compare to my obsessions with tg, clock dva, controlled bleeding, hafler trio, government alpha, test dept., early spk (gotta get the vinyl boxset), and zoviet france.

but godamn, neubauten has just a very appealing sound, they seem to fit in with numerous genres.

Good News.....

Einstürzende Neubauten embodies everything that is special about music.

Seele brennt gives the shivers its so good.

Florya 05.17.2010 04:22 PM

They haven't been the same since Mufti left, and the last time I saw them (last year) they were pretty dull.
But I'll be there. EN are legends.

Phlegmscope 05.18.2010 06:40 AM

I think I might have to go for at least one of the shows in tampere. I'm pretty sure it'll sell out fast.

So I'm reading Psychic Confusion, and I live for times when I can find a link to artists to artist. So in 1984 this promoter named Stuart Swezey, set up a organization called Desolation Center, which arranged concerts the unusual locations. The man had already put Meat Puppets and The Minutemen on barge and sailed them around Long Beach harbour. "It was a party boat with a hundred people and a bar, floating real slow all around Long Beach harbour all night."

In 1985, this Swezey guy had started multiple guerrilla festivals held in the Mojave Desert. This group from LA called Savage Republic played the first of three shows along side The Minutemen in a dune of a dried out lake bed. (THE FUCK?!) Anyways, the THIRD SHOW was held on the night of Jan 5th, 1985 and FEATURED NOT ONLY Einstürzende Neubauten, but Red Kross, The Meat Puppets AND SONIC YOUTH.

SOMEONE BUILD A TIME MACHINE NOW! We need a flux capacitor like asap

This show must've been insanely amazing.

krischanski 06.14.2010 08:52 AM

Yes. Einstürzende Neubauten was a damn good band in the 80s. And in the early 90s.
