Yeah - in general Discogs is pretty accurate (i.e., prices reflect more or less the real value), but there are outliers here and there.

jetengine 09.27.2011 02:39 PM

I wouldn't dream of paying anywhere near the Discogs prices for even a sealed copy, let alone 300 greenbacks. Why bother? Most of these old SY LPs are being reissued on higher-quality 180g vinyl. What's not already back in print will be over the next few years, mark my words. Who would have thought just a few years ago that even Whores Moaning would one day see the light of day again?

I don't like.

ann ashtray 10.09.2011 06:00 AM

I think it would make for a cool decorative piece, taken it's real. At this point in my Sonic collecting I'm more interested in artifacts than anything else, but only because most of the obtainable music (rarities included) I already own. Still trying to gather up the rest of the main albums on wax (have about half) but have already owned all that in CD format for years.

Pelle 10.09.2011 06:07 AM

Why does Washing Machine always have to be so fucking expensive??!

Please make a re-press of it soon! :D

Yeah, I've seen the red one and I used to own the black one. Bought it when I saw them play in Manchester, 2002.

This one has white binding and headstock engraving not seen on the SY drifter. Hard to tell from the photos but this one might have a slightly carved top, SY drifter looks like it was flat top.

nicfit 03.05.2012 05:53 PM

I got a bargain for all the "goo posters" together a while ago. BUT I will investigate in this "chargeback" you talk of, could be useful next time I buy something off your discogs listings ;) bwahahahaa (evil laugh)
