Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Smashing pumpkins stopped doin it for me after Siamese Dream. I think partially cause that's when everyone else in the world started to like them (silly highschool shit) and they did'nt have the sounds that attracted me at first anymore. I just lost interest.
I do have to say that Gish is one of the Best albums ever made. |

He's done this a few times in the last few days - he's mixed in quotes from you with quotes from me. I think he thinks you and I are the same person. Which is funny really. |
Well, you and pork do sorta have a resemblance (in internet form).
|
You are both pretty much badass (or for the more blatant audience of the board... 'cunt', 'elite')
I think both of you are good members though, even if I don't always agree with the way you approach arguments or what you think about this and that. Whatever. |
I do agree with you insofar as he's always a cunt and I'm always right. The thing is, he's got real problems with being a massive racist.

they each play multiple instruments, toured and recorded for 7 years as a duo, write a song a day that anyoen can listen to on their "dial-a-song" answering machine, which they have been doing since the early 80's. Their self-titled LP, Lincoln, Flood, and Apollo 18 are fucking AWESOME |

by that logic ywingwie malmsteen makes the best music on earth |

there's a lot of black metal that draws pretty heavily on bands that people here are very into, there was an interview posted on the forum a few months back where thurston moore talks about how black metal musicians have told him about SY's influence on their music, etc. so, my point is is that listening to anaal nathrakh is not dissimailar to listening to big black, listening to ildjarn is not dissimilar to listening to discharge, blut aus nord to sonic youth, botulistum to the butthole surfers, and so forth. |

No, They Might Be Giants do! Weren't you paying attention? Heh. Now if you'll go excuse me, I'm going to go to pretend to like music I genuinely like. Peace y'all. |

How? would not earth or SUNN also qualify? they don;t use simple two chord song structures. what about godspeed? sigur ros? Big Black? most all prog? |
Eh? Did you just say that Sunn don't use 2-chord structures? Isn't that exactly and precisely what they do all the time?

Sunn are cool, but they are not as inventive as this. |

I thought they used one chord for three LP's then they chose another. |

I strongly suggest zeropumpkins should check out some of the less cheesy music by people like Bernard Estardy, Giampiero Boneschi, Cecil Leuter, Czeslaw Niemen, J. Matthews etc, and hear for himself that some of the names he mentioned on this thread aren't all that innovative at all.
