Yeah, mine's pretty much goo. I'm watching Bram Stoker's Dracula right now...it's my usual "stare the TV like I've just had a lobotomy" movie.

I'm watching Tyra. It's what I watch when my brain isn't functioning properly. GOD I NEED CAFFEINE

Sonic Youth 37 10.08.2008 11:56 PM

I found a 2-liter of Mello Yello, a 16oz Coke and a bag of rippled chips! I'm set. Just in time too, a headache was starting to set it.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:00 AM

MELLO YELLO?!?!??! LOVE.

I had some yogurt and am going to make a second trip to the kitchen for a bagel. My head feels a little better but still that dead mushy feeling.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:04 AM

I actually yelped when I saw the Mello Yello because I thought I only had one 16oz to get me through the night. I might be up my usual hours afterall.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:07 AM

God, where do you find that stuff?! It's my favorite soda next to orange soda.

IS IT TRUE? MHM

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:09 AM

I have a whole (well, minus 2) 12-pack of Fanta Orange, but I needed caffeine. The Mello Yello was behind the diet Coke (yeck), the wine and the beer.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:11 AM

Om nom. God. If I'm ever in your area I'm gonna raid your fridge.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:14 AM

Yeah, I'm here by myself and that's what I've been doing, raiding both the fridges and the pantry. I really want some rolls or artisan bread though...but we have none.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:26 AM

Oh god. WIN.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:33 AM

It's kind of creepy, but it is totally win.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:36 AM

random thought: I didn't wanna wash my hand cause Tom Gabel shook it. I still have the sweaty pick. I should put it in a glass cube.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:37 AM

I need to make a shadowbox for my SY setlist and broken Thurston string. Well, I really just need to make a really big shadowbox for all my tickets, flyers, setlists, etc.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:39 AM

Do it! I still have my Sigur Ros ticket somewhere around here.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:45 AM

All of mine are in an envelope. I'm slightly pissed that I don't have anything from when I saw Silver Jews because the venue doesn't do tickets. It'll just have to accounted for in my Show log. I was not sleepy one night and decided to keep a log of all the books I've read and the show's i've been to. Both seem like worthy life-long hobbies.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:48 AM

Whoa. That's crazy. I'd never be able to do that cause half the shows I've been to don't do tickets either... and I'm an avid reader and go through books like toilet paper.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 12:51 AM

Shows stands at 9 or 10 right now, I could remember 40 books I've read (I've got a bookmark somewhere with about 20 more, which would account for the last 2 years) and go through about 2 200-300 pagers a week on average.

terriblecanyons 10.09.2008 12:55 AM

Crazy. I wish I read that much :( I would if I had some good books to read. I can never find any.

Sonic Youth 37 10.09.2008 01:00 AM

I've been sticky mainly to "classical" literature mostly for a while. Don't read very many new books. I'm going to try to read the whole LOTR Trilogy soon.
