I'd say Marco Asensio. He's an amazing player (though I hate Real Madrid to guts) and will be a big star in the future.

Yeah, he'll be a huge player in a few years and I was looking forward to seeing him in the WC but I don't remember him making much of an impact there.

so any matches you guys looking forward to this weekend?

i gotta check out the schedules...

demonrail666 08.16.2018 11:38 AM

I'll obviously be glued to West Ham v Bournemouth but Chelsea v Arsenal (Sat) is probably the big one. Although I think Liverpool v Palace (Mon) could also be interesting. Liverpool are obviously on a high but I reckon Palace will be a far harder opponents than WH.

And for a potential goal-fest I can see Man City absolutely obliterating Huddersfield (Sun).

oh no, monday games started huh? terrible for my workday :D

(nah ill just have to watch replays i guess)

chelsea arsenal sounds great!i’ll be rooting for the mkhitarian/aubameyang duo i guess' though auba wasn’t quite in place last weekend. i hope arsène didn’t destroy his mojo.

2 new coaches with somebody else’s teams... this is high on the curiosity index for me

demonrail666 08.16.2018 01:02 PM

I can see Mkhitaryan being benched for a more defensive-minded option after Arsenal were completely overrun by Man City last week.

Just been watching this, a fascinating Doc from 20 years ago about Doncaster Rovers being run into the ground by a maleavolant owner. It was quite nice to watch because I was at Brentford v Doncaster on the final day of the season 5 years ago when Brentford had a penalty in the last minute to win and get promoted, Marcelo Trotta missed and then Doncaster went up the other end and scored to become champions. Fantastic how they came through such a seemingly hopeless spell. Worth a watch for those familiar with English football.

Aces. I'll give that a watch tomorrow.

Y'know what? Feel like all the shitty press that's going on recently I'm DOUBLY glad that it's football today. 3pm comes and then there's something going on in the world.

Yeah, that match sounds like a bag of wank. The Newcastle one that is.Ooh, Spurs/Fulham could be an interesting one. Certainly the most appealing one of an ok bunch.

demonrail666 08.18.2018 08:36 AM

Newcastle Cardiff was surprisingly ok. 0-0 and very low on quality but still watchable.

Honestly, the Everton and WH games are probably the two most interesting of the 3 o'clocks. WH especially will need to show something against a fairly solid Bournemouth and Everton will wanna make amends for last week's draw but Southampton can be tricky.

Can't see anything but a Spurs win so not much interest there.

!@#$%! 08.18.2018 08:37 AM

ok! wolves it is then :D

h8kurdt 08.18.2018 09:20 AM

I'd forgotten what it was like to see Everton players actually make an effort.

demonrail666 08.18.2018 10:24 AM
