chelsea ON FIRE

arsenal’s defense holier than thou :D

oh yes arsenal is back & back again

what a great game. i mean...

demonrail666 08.18.2018 12:40 PM

Sooo, it's Arsenal away next week. I can easily see us going into September on zero points. I'm just praying this isn't another season about survival rather than progress but I have a horrible feeling it could be. Why couldn't I have been born in Barcelona, or even bloody Bournemouth!

!@#$%! 08.18.2018 01:24 PM

chelsea’s bench is mad fuckin deep

demonrail666 08.18.2018 01:27 PM

I never watched the Chelsea Arsenal game. I know the result but how was it?

Know the feeling. However, look at it this way, new manager and new squad overhaul needs time. Look at Arsenal. Patience man. And winning all the time would get boring. Imagine being a self entitled Bayern/Real Madrid/Juventus fan where even a draw is a scandal.

Richarlison is looking like a real good buy for Everton. Let's hope he can keep it up.

Missed the Chelsea game as I was climbing. However Motd should be a good one.

Anyone know how Ronaldo got on today?

it was a brilliant game.

first half chelsea scores early (pedro) arsenal misses a couple of chances (sad for auba) then immediately chelsea scores again (morata destroys all)

all is lost? no because mkhitarian scores one (whatta shot) and assists another and blam, it’s 2-2, go to halftime.

2nd half contested, hazard and giroud come in for chelsea (what fucking luxury, lmao) and late eventually chelsea scores a third.

there was a lot to look at and hard to summarize except to say: chelsea was better, but arsenal was way better than last week. also ozil booed when subbed out. ouch!

h8kurdt 08.18.2018 03:01 PM

Ozil booed? Good.

You're right, but what worries me is that teams like WH don't have time in that league. Arsenal can start slowly without seriously fearing relegation but it's always a real possibility for us. The problem is even if/when the players click, the one thing they'll never have is pace and we know that's king right now.

He's looking like the signing of the summer so far.

I don't expect Chelsea to win the title but they do look very strong. Alonso's ridiculous. Considering he's a defender he spends more time in his opponents' box than he does his own. Him and Mendy are better strike-options than most teams have in their actual forward-line.

And speaking of deep benches, there's a rumour in the press that Pep might start Jesus instead of Aguero tomorrow. Not because there's any injury or fitness issue or even a tactical change, but because Pep was apparently furious he didn't pass to De Bruyne last week when he was clear on goal.

!@#$%! 08.18.2018 04:49 PM

lol pep the maniac

he left bayern a mess

h8kurdt 08.18.2018 07:03 PM

Watch mouth when talking about senior pep aka man of the people!

demonrail666 08.18.2018 07:07 PM

I'm starting to think with Pep, he's an incredible league manager but his eccentricities aren't necessarily best suited to the sudden death nature of knockout competitions. (I know that wasn't an issue at Barcelona, but that was Barcelona.) I still say Man City were the best, most complete team I'd seen last season but there's always that possibility, as we saw, that in a single game, they'll break down. It's the difference between a Mercedes and a Ferrari. I can trust a Mercedes but it'll never excite me the way a Ferrari does.

!@#$%! 08.18.2018 07:15 PM

i know i know i know...

i still hate him :D

demonrail666 08.19.2018 06:34 AM

All this reminds me, there's that fly on the wall series about MC' just released. Haven't seen it yet, just the trailers, but it looks like a must-watch.

Anyway it's Peps slightly baffling supercar in about an hour then Jose's functional but not exactly loveable executive saloon in about 3 hours.

EDIT: Aguero starts but Sterling, Walker and Mahrez all benched

EDIT#2: Just heard a leading candidate for next USMNT is ..... wait for it ... David Moyes

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...onal-team.html

h8kurdt 08.19.2018 07:00 AM

That'd be amazing if that happened. It would be interesting to see how he'd do with international football. Do wonder whether Moyes' style is the right sort for it though. I've no ill feelings towards Moyes at all. However there were times when he seemed to easy to concede a draw or loss to the bigger teams. Especially coming to the end of his time at Everton.

demonrail666 08.19.2018 07:12 AM

I think he's finished as a club manager but could be ok at a national team. I mean if Martinez can get to a WC semi, god knows what Moyes could achieve.

!@#$%! 08.19.2018 07:39 AM

not excited about today’s matches as the even one is between who? and the others are gonna be a bunch of bullying the little guy i assume.

i might have them on while house chores occur tho. just to get used to the names

don’t know a lot about moyes but seen his name thrown around tons.

feeling sorry for little pulisic who’s gonna be stuck with whoever instead of croatia ha ha ha ha

demonrail666 08.19.2018 07:41 AM

"Hold the mayo!"

!@#$%! 08.19.2018 07:46 AM

i remember his face coming in to man u after fergies retirement but no idea how he operates

!@#$%! 08.19.2018 07:49 AM

according to this what made him a bad manager was “being at everton” xD XD xD

https://www.balls.ie/football/rio-fe...man-utd-395095

oh he was last year at jamon west???

i thought you had a smoking croatian or something

was he terrible? moues i mean. (gonna guess yes)

h8kurdt 08.19.2018 07:52 AM

Tfw you remember David Silva is 32. 32 and playing as well as he ever did.

Edit:And Aguero. God I love that guy.
