you're right, guy ritchie is awful. can't rep you but you deserve it. rocknrolla was sooooo shit, god damn |
maybe im some sort of pyschic genius but when i see that poster, for a film called rock n rolla, i don't need to exert any mental deliberation on it shitness, its like innate and unthinkingly already known to me, like i am some sort of buddha.
also, vinnie jones from lock stock was on big brother in the uk last year. and he is just as much of a fucking wanker as you would think. |

ReallY? I'm guessing you just haven't seen enough fucked up shit. Trust me. There's a lot of films I stay far away from cuz I think they're too disturbing. Human Centipede was (dare I say it) fun. |
BTW... movies are dead.

![]() I'm not really sure what to make of this one, but I don't think I liked it . That fact surprisingly has nothing to do with Paul Walker starring in this. The film was extremely vulgar, and very violent, and even had a genuinely creepy scene (if you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about). It was about as action-packed as a movie can get, but many of the attempts at making this film stylish, ultimately fell flat. Oh well... 5/10 |
![]() def. the worst woody allen i've seen but it was watchable, but scarlett johanson must be the most boring actress in the world |
![]() HALFWAY I can never get enough of Japanese film. A cute story about dating and going away to University, lovable cast that makes you laugh all the way thru. |
![]() jawesome |
![]() 10/10 I was expecting a masterpiece going into it, and definitely got what I asked for. This film completely lives up to it's hype. Thankfully I purchased the version with the proper subtitles. |

Do you care to elaborate? I borrowed this off a friend like last year after his rave review, and I thought it was just fairly average. I'm not knocking that you dug it, I'm certainly in the minority in my dislike for it. I'm just curious what you really liked about it. |

You most likely watched a copy with the non-theatrical subtitles. Or perhaps you had a proper DVD, but were watching the English dub, or perhaps the 1st set of subtitles (you must select English 2 to view the film as it was meant to be). The variance between the two subtitle tracks alters the viewing experience greatly. Check out this link - http://iconsoffright.com/news/2009/0...les_in_to.html I felt that the shots were very well composed, and effective at conveying the chilling European atmosphere. The plot seems strong enough to stand on it's own reasonably well, even without it's fantastical elements. The cutesy child vampire tale with ghastly special effects was just icing on the cake, that I gleefully devoured. |
I liked Thirst better, as far as two stylish vampire flicks that came out at the same time. Not too big into vampire films though.
