Now we both know you're only trying to be nice, and I appreciate it, but West Ham could be setting the Prem alight and they'd still come unstuck at Goodison Park. Just a cruel fact of life.

o wait wait wait it reads internacional club the futbol which is a weird syntax in spanish

so, okay, fail

It's Spanish enough for me. Either way a billion times better than Inter fuckin Miami. I'm back on board.

EDIT: I've just realised, if their badge says Miami ICF or ICF Miami they'll be every West Ham football hooligan's 2nd club. This could be hilarious. Beckham was brought up around there, there's no way that'll be an accident. Even if it was just intended as a little joke.

i'm seeing 2 logos now. confusing.

this one would read correct

So from football hooligans to drag queens.

Salah, Modric and Ronaldo in the final 3 for the Ballon d'Or. No Messi isn't a shock but does mark an end of an era

we won 3-0, however it was the most fucking boring match I've ever seen. Our guys played at their 50% performance, because nobody wanted to get injured, and the Danish just didn't know how to kick the ball (I heard there was an insurance agent and one professional youtuber in their squad, haha)

Why meaningless? Playing against Spain is always a challenge, isn't it?

I only take an interest in internationals when they're played for something concrete. I know they do have SOME meaning and are obviously necessary to prepare for those more meaningful games. I suppose ultimately I just get frustrated with anything that disrupts club football.

Fair point.

i for one welcome the opportunity to walk away from the tv this weekend xD

!@#$%! 09.08.2018 11:27 AM

just found out that yesterday a brazilian 4-3-3 beat a 4-1-4-1 usa squad 2-0. goals by firmino and neymar.

brazil brought on their full squad by the look of it, usa missing pulisic (injured) among others. tite continues in charge of brazil, we got an interim manager who used to coach the chicago fire and is focusing on youth development.

a bit of commentary can be found here: https://www.starsandstripesfc.com/us...hat-we-learned

empty stadium ffs

Lineups for In-ger-land Spain:

England (3-5-2): Pickford; Maguire, Stones, Gomez; Trippier, Henderson, Alli, Shaw, Lingard; Rashford, Kane

Spain (4-3-3): De Gea; Carvajal, Nacho, Ramos, Alonso; Busquets, Saúl, Thiago, Isco, Aspas, Rodrigo

Kane needs a rest. The man's knackered and it's not like he's fighting for his place. Southgate needs to look for a long term Vardy replacement. Start trying those out.

!@#$%! 09.10.2018 09:08 AM

i read a bit about the england spain game

luis enrique! fear spain again.

anyway thanks to the teevee-free mornings i managed to fix my bike and go for some rides this weekend. dopamine + endorphin rushes are good.

now looking forward to the return of games! and beer for breakfast.

what are good prospects?

liverpool spurs! gotta be a good one.

latter block of games dont know what they will show here.

not interested in man u - watford. will just catch highlights i think.

wolves standalone game on sunday i should be able to catch. such a nice team.

then west ham v. everton! that’s gonna be some drama for this thread :D

bundesliga: friday’s dortmund v. frankfurt seems promising. then it’s munich v. leverkusen and gladbach-schalke on saturday.

demonrail666 09.10.2018 09:36 AM

Spurs v Liverpool will be the 'biggie' but Everton West Ham will be intense as fuck, at least from a WH pov. Given their two games after that are against Chelsea and MU this one really is a must win, even if history tells me to fully expect Everton to do us.

!@#$%! 09.10.2018 12:28 PM

hooleeeee fuck now i know what happened with santi cazorla

https://www.theguardian.com/football...rview-sid-lowe

dont read if you’re squeamish. fuck!

demonrail666 09.10.2018 01:09 PM

Wow, poor guy. I skipped the goriest parts (eating a tuna salad sandwich) but still. I knew he had some kind of injury but no idea it was as bad as that. I'm just amazed he's actually playing again after all that.

demonrail666 09.11.2018 07:56 AM

Just listened to Paul Merson on sky, talking about West Ham's problems. Apparently Pellegrini's only experience is with the very top level of teams, forgetting that he built his reputation at Villareal and Malaga, not Real and Man City. How Merson gets paid to talk about football is beyond me.

Oh yeah, and different football I know, but the Miami Dolphins won on Sunday, which just feels wrong. Might have to look for a crappier alternative. I need Suchfriends' to come back and advise me.

That guy is actually a moron. His comment about how it was Everton paying £40 million for Richarlison that has ruined the transfer market says it all for me. Along with Graeme Souness the shit they come out with is baffling.

demonrail666 09.11.2018 08:50 AM

Makes you wonder who Sky think actually watches these shows cos any semi-informed fan knows that Merson really doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. At least Robbie Savage knows he's a joke and just plays on it now. Merson actually believes he has something to say.

!@#$%! 09.14.2018 07:21 AM

today borussia dortmund v. eintracht frankfurt

frankfurt had a good previous season but their coach moved to bayern

dortmund has one of the usual musical chair coaches and im not too excited about that but we’ll see
