god, deerhoof was so fucking ace. terriblecanyons summed it up. deerhoof could make shitty music, but they'd be my favorite band just for being such fun and great people. they let my brother jump up on stage!

yeah I saw deerhoof live a few weeks ago.

Experimental Dental School, as a two piece (!), blew them away that night.. but they were still great. The best reason to see Deerhoof is definitely Greg's drumming.. not to take away from the rest of the band.. but his drumming.. I dunno. There's just something about it...

The band that opened for them both, I think their name was Au... were one of the worst bands I've ever seen.

flying were the first opening band last night. their fast songs were ok, slow stuff boring, but they are really sweet people.

yeah, i don't care for au. but experimental dental school are wicked. i really enjoyed them.

i've explained enough as to why on here, but i'll say it again that greg is one of my favorite persons i've ever gotten to meet.

Flying Crescent/Fertile Crescent, whatever, were decent. The guitar has some nice proto-shoegaze moments, but not enough of them.

So, I have two questions in front of me:
#1 Do I really want to dye my hair green? (I think yes)
#2 Do I want to take the 204 1/4 inch studs that I have and stud my low top Chucks? (Might look cool, but it would take about 3-4 hours)

Right on! Thanks jade. The shoes are going to take a while. Have to figure out how to do a pattern of 102 per shoe and still have it look right. Plus I have to decide if I want to get a haircut before I dye it. (I would post a pic of it' current length, but my camera is on the blink) because I'm not going to style it different, it'll just be green.

Yeah, I have 204 studs divided by 2 shoes, but I'll only be able to stud in canvas places. So, I'm thinking around the edge and at the top and end of the tongue. However, I think I might have had a change of heart about the low tops, as I don't wear them a whole lot. I might have to find pair of high tops to be studded.

I need a new hairstyle. I've been getting it cut short so it doesn't curl in the back. I might just continue to wear it like this, but straighten the front. I really have no idea. I just can't stand the curling sometimes.
