What the fuck?

The album version of Like Spinning Plates is one of their best songs.

well, I kind of agree with _slavo_, the arrangements on Amnesiac ruin very beautiful harmonies. I wouldn't say it's crap though, but it's difficult listening :D

spinning plates is one of their best songs, but i guess the live version does it a little bit better for me.

on pull/pulk revolving doors (and the rest of amnesiac): amnesiac is brilliant in being a record. if you cut the songs loose, of change order it will be mediocre, but a full spin is mindblowing. so, never skip a track!

Overzealous programmers shouldn't be allowed to listen to music.

The binary theory of In Rainbows and OK Computer.

Yes. I regret they didn't play Weird fishes/Arpeggi in Rock en Seine last year:

Thanks for posting the tabs... I finally realised what In Rainbows vaguely reminds me of... Liars...

It's an ok album, but all in all it's pretty underwhelming. Half the time I'm listening and I'm asking myself, "Where the hell is Radiohead?" At times it seems like a continuation of Thom's solo album. I also think it is insane that some of the reviews have it ranked almost at a "classic." There really aren't that many outstanding moments (which we've come to expect) even though they are probably deliberately going towards a more "mininmal" sound. My favorite songs are def. Reckoner and House of Cards.

I second that... The part where he sings "Because we seperate/It ripples our reflection" then he goes ooh/ooh/ahh :)... It's just beautiful... And the way he croons 'denial' on house of cards is positively sublime...

krastian 10.31.2007 12:20 PM

Exactly, the "denial" part is great.

alyasa 10.31.2007 12:24 PM

It gets me everytime... On the bus home from school, staring out the windows, looking at the evening sky, with the world swirling around me like a mad carousel... And he sings, 'denial'...

Reckoner has grown on me, I didn't get it at the beginning but I love it now.
