Pretty sure a discussion and an argument are two different things. Especially when arguing with people who don't even read whole posts, because they are so quick to post their knee jerk reactions.

Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill and the Animation Show vol 1 and 2 are so awesome. The Goode Family seemed pretty good but I didn't see much. Office Space and Idiocracy were decent -- did anyone see Extract? curious about that one.

Personally, I like to be abused... there's a time and a place for it though.

I think that discussion was when I was particularly bitter about being cheated on by every girl I've been with, especially the last girl, I spent 7 years with her, gave her more than anyone else ever has, and she cheated on me with a guy who is a shithead to her, because she said I was too good for her, and she just generally treated guys who treated her like garbage, better than me. The only way to get her to respect me was to be an asshole to her, which is totally not who I am. The best thing I did was to stop talking to her. But she owes me $200 (she actually owes me a couple thousand but we're settling at $200) so I check in with her sometimes to see if she has been able to pay me yet. Of course, she made me feel like shit our entire relationship because I never went to college. She comes from the richest family in town, went to a nice ass school, and is thousands in credit card debt. So, I mean, I "win", but what kind of victory is it?

Either way, I'm sure I was bitter for a while, but I'm with a totally sweet girl now who sees me for who I really am, respects my honest, integrity, creativity, and success. We love each other. She sometimes does get into these moods where she feels like I'm too good for her, but I have to keep reminding her that I'm no better than anyone else. She's really changed who I am as a person -- for the better. She makes me so happy. It seems like everything started going good once I got with her... my movies started being accepted to festivals, people started being interested in my music again. She has helped me realize the beauty of flowers. She's an angel.

I think at the time, I liked the abuse. Probably some kind of sexual manifestation from the genuine abuse I suffered as a child. I honestly never got anything out of that relationship, except she drove me to see Polysics once.

You know what? I took vacation at work last year -- I only get one vacation a year, mind you -- to watch her parent's house while they were all in Florida. I watched her house, so that she had someone there so it wouldn't get broken into, and I saved them hundreds of dollars since they didn't have to take their dogs to the kennel. One night, at 3 AM, I saw some suspicious guys across the street eyeballing the house (no vehicles had been in front of the house in like 5 days, no lights had been on), I turned the lights on and they quickly drove off. I really think they were either doing drugs or contemplating breaking in and I prevented it.

I was promised $100 for my services -- never got a dime. Never even got a thank you. And best of all, during my 10 days staying there, that's when she was down there cheating on me. So, the $200 she owes me -- and trusts me, she owes me way more than that if we really want to break it down -- is for that, as well as another $100 because when she said she was moving to Florida, I let her sell a ton of my video games and keep half the money. She didn't keep half, she kept all the money.
