Oof, condolences my man. One of the pundits pointed out that given the young age of the squad that it can only serve as a lesson and that they can come out of it better players.

Also, it looks like there's a potential that both European cups could.be all English finals. That'd be pretty impressive if that happened.

_slavo_ 05.09.2019 07:50 AM

Holy shit, Liverpool.

It was tragic if you're an Ajax fan but I don't see why it would be for anyone else.

well for one thing i hate to see total english hegemony. yes, i started to watch the prem because of that very reason, it’s just getting too good, but it’s nice to have an international contest in europe.

two, regardless of club nationality, these kids were doing fantastic and were 20 seconds short of a huge achievement in our era. and then, blam, lucas moura.

kinda like if in the karate kid daniel-san slips on the final crane kick, falls backwards, and the bully punches him so hard he breaks his jaw and sends him to the hospital unconscious.

ajax shares dropped 20% yesterday...

anyway here is to liverpool murdering pochettino & co. fuck fuck fuck...

demonrail666 05.09.2019 02:14 PM

Valencia scores. Another big comeback in store?

demonrail666 05.09.2019 02:28 PM

Liverpool have twice beaten Spurs 2-1 this season. They'll be favourites but they'll know each other inside out and, as per the cliche, anything can happen over 90 minutes.

I understand people not wanting an English shut-out but it'll be a hell of an achievement if it happens. I've seen plenty of single nation CL and UEFA finals but can't recall both of them involving teams from one country.

And Arsenal equalise (so 4-2 Ars on agg)

And now Chelsea scores (2-1 Che on agg)

Bloody hell man, we've had nigh on ten years of a Spanish hegemony in European football. Before last year how many years was it when an English team were last in the final? Was it Chelsea? It's cycles. Germany had it for a while, Spain have had it, now it's possibly back to England.

fair enough, anything is better than seeing real madrid go at it again.

(and i was so conflicted this past season seeing gigi buffon and cronaldo... on the same fucking team! )

true, i’ve been for liverpool all along this season. for klopp, for justice for mo, for so many reasons.

but fuck spurs, lmao.

would have loved a liverpool-dortmund final. holy shit the conflict.

i did want buffon to win the champions in this lifetime. saw him depart empty handed once again.

but also i could not root for juve this year.

2 separate things...

Apparently every European finalist has lost to Wolverhampton this season.

Can't work out the maths but does this mean there'll be 5 CL spots for English teams next year?
