Not a vintage game, gotta be said, but a deserved win. And glad the difference ultimately didn't come down to a debatable* pen.

EDIT: OK, not really debatable, but a silly mistake from Spurs

Bringing this over from the movie thread.

He hasn't been right since the end of the 17/18 season. Listening to phone-ins last night, some Spurs fans are growing impatient. I even heard a couple say he should be sold. I dunno. Give him the summer to properly recover and see if he gets his mojo back next season. They wouldn't get what they would have 18 months ago and when he's on it he's as good as anyone.

I didn't watch it because it was on at something like 2am, but tell me Tunic: looking at the stats and reports, I'm guessing that it was an impressive defensive performance by the Dutch and/or a poor one by us. What's your take?

to be honest, I watched the match but my thoughts were some place else (Ohio ;) ). But what I do recall, is that Australia was too violent for a friendly match. I'm not sure about that injury in the 4th minute, but there were some offenses that were simply too harsh. Anyway, I think the match was pretty even, see the statistics. We were just more efficient in our scoring.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm now going for China as a second team largely thanks to Wang Shuang.

One of our internet providers is doing a promo where if you're a schoolkid, you can get the Women's World Cup streamed for free. So of course I took advantage of it.

It's 3-0 to France at half time, with another disallowed on VAR (the right call). They're dominating South Korea - the Koreans haven't had a shot, but France have had 10 corners in the half. They're looking good at this point

Sarri confirms he's going to Juventus

Chelsea apparently have Wolves' NES on their shortlist of possible replacements.

oh fuck no, please nuno don’t sell yourself to that russian brothel. you can bielsa this.

demonrail666 06.07.2019 06:22 PM

Yeah, I don't know how serious the link is but it'd be good to see him try and build something at Wolves. Chelsea will just make him another in a long line of scapegoats.

Also, they face a transfer ban so i's not like whoever comes in will have any kind of spending budget.

!@#$%! 06.07.2019 06:46 PM

im sure abramovich can bribe enough people but jeezus

nuno is the espírito santo incarnate

his work with wolves is a minor miracle and a joy to behold

it’s too soon to cash out and give himself to ruin
