She basically always wants me to be funny, do imitations, tell stories etc... my sense of humor (though I don't really bother here) is one of the largest factors of my personality, but I dont want to be loved as a fucking clown...

Derek 10.28.2010 10:58 AM

Girls like guys that are funny, when she gets to know you more she'll see other aspects of your personality surely

ploesj 10.28.2010 12:51 PM

today someone finally tought me the easiest way to download a youtube (or basically any) video. it was a fucking revelation.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 10.28.2010 12:58 PM

@ Viewtifulalan

I'd say go for it man, anything is better than nothing. I mean, I'm sure even you don't exactly like her for who she really is deep down, just yet. Her initial impression of you is that you're funny, and probably cute... and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

The real question is... does she have sweet gothic titties?

Following standard procedures, you press the syringe into the back of the zombie's neck and pump the glittering serum into its brain and spinal cord.

There is a thin pneumatic hiss, and the zombie staggers forward, limbs shuddering, before slumping to the floor as if dead. Colgrass's skin shivers for a moment, and the contents of the syringe begin their slow, molecular work.

What's the easiest way, besides that awesome firefox plugin? Is there an easier way than that?

Been thinking of downloading all the Charles Manson parole hearings I don't have and burning em to dvd. I've got quite a few on dvd as it is, but I'd like more ,I'm a big collector of anything Manson-related.

Also, here's a weird question.. is there any way to put .pdf documents on a dvd? Like, if you put it to dvd, you can scroll/skip pages and stuff? I guess if I just went ahead and "Created a menu" I could probably do that. I don't have a program for that, though.

you dont want to be appreciated for what you feel is the largest factor of "you" ?

Im not sure I understand.

would you rather be appreciated for something that you are not?

everyone wants a fake girlfriend.

EVOLghost 10.30.2010 12:57 PM

to view as a dvd on a tv? like a gallery? I think imovie gives you an option to create something like that, and more than likely lots of video editing programs would do something similar. I havent used any for a long time though.

A guy from my film class was found dead in his apartment today. He was a very talented writer, and easily one of the kindest guys I've ever met. I'll never forget you man.

DVD architect? I'm not too familiar with it, but it should do the trick.

ann ashtray 11.02.2010 10:54 PM

Spent the weekend in Savannah. Saw some amazing blues by Brett Barnard + the Hitmen. Look 'em up if ya ever happen to be in that area and have any appreciation for the blues.

Shit was dirty-dirty-sexy.

That's all, folks.

EVOLghost 11.03.2010 04:20 AM

I'm really fucking tired.

DeadDiscoDildo 11.03.2010 07:17 PM

What should I do? I want to play music for the rest of my life but am quickly learning (too late) at 25 that it will provide no income to live off of. No matter how good I am.

Should I just become a bartender or what?

I didn't go to college, and am glad I didnt because it doesnt seem to be providing jobs, just debt.

But my only skills are songwriting and fucking.

ploesj 11.03.2010 07:21 PM

try finding a parttime job somewhere that doesn't consume too much of your time and energy, something that you can let go after you have done your hours. spend the rest of your time on your music. you will have a small but steady income and still have time to spend on what you love. working fulltime can be deadly for your music, i know my productivity was at its lowest at times when i worked from 9 to 5!

Something quite irrelevant... no pb!

Attention to sound itself, that's what SY lead me to, learnt me, when I was listening to this music, when I saw the group playing live.
Now I'm just a bit older, married and father, and, ahhh, working.
But still "attentif" to sounds, every sound, every word, and fact.

So why? Why SY did not go more into politics after 911?

Now I'm part of an "association citoyenne", with no religious, philosophical nore political aim, which brings news informations about "le 11 Septembre".

The group which was my favourite group just hasn't followed the same way... although they are new yorkers!

I drew a parallel between beeing focused on sounds and on facts...

"I want to know!"

1. NEVER stop playing.

2. After going to college I have realized alot of ppl can make more money w/o it bartenders make pretty good money and you can still have time for your passion. It is not yr job title that counts. You will always be a musician.

3. Find a good WOMAN. Not groupie fuck for the night grl. A smart woman that has career ambitions. She MUST accept that you are what you are and she will be bringin home most of the bacon. I know there are not many of us out there, but they do exist. This is how Ryan and I do it. I did NOT marry him because I expected him to work some 9-5 job and act "normal". I married him knowing that it was going to be me that would have the career and he would have the creative ambitions. There are some ppl out there that just are not made to live the typical family life and it is awesome!

4. It is never too late! I did not finish college until I was 28. If you are a baliever in god he will take you down the right path as long as you put the work in and pay attention.

All the best of luck to you and sorry I'm not getting a divorce anytime soon:)

Are you making a loss, or just not making enough to live off completely? It can take a long time for any artist to make enough money to support themselves 100%, if ever.

Who cares if it doesnt work out as a full time job though.. You can still play music.. It might just mean other means of income on the side.

PS I want to do live art with yr band for a show one day pls.
