no prem games this weekend? what the shit... effay cup again? aghhhh...

h8kurdt 01.24.2020 10:59 AM

Yup it's fa cup time again. They had the game on Tuesday/Wednesday of this week. Of course we shan't be discussing the Everton game.

h8kurdt 01.24.2020 05:46 PM

That Haaland is looking like something else isn't he. Saw this stat

Erling Braut Haaland has scored more league goals than Manchester United in 2020 (5-4). Haaland has played 57 minutes. United have played 360.

And that was having killed it in Austria and already smashing it in the champions league. He'll be at Everton in three years to win the league ;)

!@#$%! 01.25.2020 10:22 AM

leipzig frankfurt lively but no goals yet

ETA: frankfurt beat leipzig 2-0

this guy, filip kostic, a serbian, something else.

bas dost who left wolfsburg for sevilla is now at frankfurt!

and klinsmann coaching wolfsburg WAT

well well well looks interesting for the upcoming bayern-schalke both within reach of top spot

i miss the bundesliga and should watch it more, but it’s hard to give up the glory that is liverpool

!@#$%! 01.25.2020 01:17 PM

the VAR just killed a beautiful bayern goal against schalke, pavard > goretzka > lewandowski

it was resolved quickly, unlike in england—but it was only visible in the slow motion of the camera, which brings me to the point you guys made last time:

in these days of VAR, the offside rule is just way too tight. it needs more gap so that player/spectator/ref and camera perception may all align rather than cancel each other.

-

eh, mueller scored a legitimate second right at the end of first half, lol

and now leon goretzka scores against his former team, making it 3-0 for bayern.

lmao, 4-0... almost 5-0! hahaha

!@#$%! 02.01.2020 01:18 PM

dirty fucking man u 0-0 vs wolves at halftime

one team plays football the other one plays “flirt with the yellow card”

shitbags

h8kurdt 02.01.2020 01:24 PM

Haha!

Well let's talk about the Everton. Coming from 2-0 to win 3-2 and being down to ten men for it. They never make it easy on themselves do they.

on surface appears like quite a feat, but the real question is — how did they let relegation-bound watford get away with a two goal advantage? defense problems?

demonrail666 02.01.2020 03:05 PM

Everton are fine. Watford' have improved a lot since replacing their manager. Certainly no pushovers. Traore's turning into the breakout player this season.

Meanwhile West Ham finally drop into the bottom 3 with a horrible run of fixtures coming up. It's curtains I think.

Since that bellend Pearson got in as manager they've been on a decent run. Certainly no pushovers the table suggests. This is the team that drew 3-3 with Wolves a coupla weeks weeks remember.

Everton are third behind Liverpool and City in the form table (yes it's a thing) since Silva got the sack. Clearly this means we're going to win the league next season.

Yeah I saw that run last on motd. Grim scenes, man. Hope they don't see it being down to Moyes if yoy do get the drop and then sack him as a reflex move.

!@#$%! 02.02.2020 07:09 AM

aaaah i didnt know this watford manager story. will go look at it. thanks guys!

as for west ham, if they drop, i like to be positive and find the upside in apparently bad situations.

1) tickets would be cheaper and more locals could attend games (isn’t the prem a sort of league for tourists these days?)

2) change of ownership could perhaps be at hand. not that it’s a guarantee that a huckster wouldn’t take over, but there are possibilities. is the club model legal in your country? you know, member owned? i forget... (here in the usa it isn’t, lol).

imagine being a leeds fan right now. exciting times for sure, fighting for the top of their league. if they get promoted? the suffering would begin again....

The owners have shown that they can't build a working relationship with any manager, so Moyes is neither the problem or the solution. You could put Klopp in charge of West Ham right now and it'd be the same.

Losing the Prem TV money would make ticket sales the club's only really significant source of income, so it couldn't drop the prices that much.

The owners won't sell the club at cut-price Championship prices.

There seems to be a real culture block here, in terms of the idea of fan ownership. It's only really associated with club's that are on the brink of outright extinction. And even then only rarely. There's certainly no legal block on it.

ah, damn. tough spot to be in.

demonrail666 02.02.2020 11:01 PM

To be honest, I can barely bring myself to care about West Ham in their current state. They'll always be the team I 'support' but the owners have effectively killed the club's identity.

!@#$%! 02.08.2020 09:21 AM

4 games per weekend wtf prem?

and congrats h8kurdt for the 3-1

demonrail666 02.08.2020 09:44 AM

They're running this gameweek over two weeks for some silly reason. Murder for people playing fantasy football
