There was a kids circus festival thing at sydney while I was there, wonder if its the same deal?

this show was part of the come out festival of arts for children... it is like the adelaide festival but the kiddy version.... all of those photos were iso3200 f1.8 60ms shutter speed

hey they dont too grainy for that high, nice job.

all the new eos' have great noise reduction... my camera can go up to 12800, i havent taken any shots using that though high an iso though.

I have a 40D... was annoyed when it was only 6 months before 50D came out, but really doesn't bother me anymore, as I love the photos my camera takes. Do want 1DIV in the next year or so when new one comes out.. roar.

hot fucking damn. i have a d70s and it will do 1600 but it will be grainy as fuck-- a little photoshop and they look like magazine photos though-- that sorta faded low-contrast look.

it's been ages since we had a good storm here, i remember when i was younger thunder waking me up during the night then watching the storm out of my window for an hour or so. storms are cool.

this one is awesome, a bit more of the spire would have topped it off.

for the lightning i did a 30sec exposure and with some luck i caught them, it took many tries to actually have them on the pictures..

how come you don't have storms mrs. butcher? where do you live?

The storms are approaching Bratislava at the moment ... looks like their direction is eastward.

there was a giant thunderstorm over belgium two nights ago or so, lightning flashed 30 000 times and struck half of those, hailstones the size of rocks...

i slept through all of it.

I live in Graz. It seems like yesterday was the last day of storms here for now. So now you get the pleasure.

i had a great model.

these are nice. i would pull said great model a bit further away from the hedgerow and use a larger aperture for a shallower depth of field to seperate said model from the background and give a stronger focal point. that would make the photos pop alot more. like so with this great model hahahahaa
