Glad you check out Garrel1 He rules!!

Sauvage Innocence - 9/10

Let's quote Assayas about Garrel's J'entends plus la guitare.
"Philippe Garrel is the proverbial underrated genius. He is the closest thing to a poet functioning today in French cinema. His indipendence, his radicality, the way he has managed to remain true to his ideals has been an inspiration not only for me but also for many French filmmakers of the following generation. This film is possibly his masterpiece. It's about his love affair with Nico, it's about his heroin addiction, it's also about surviving youth, surviving in an age where everything you stood for, believed in, dreamed of has been crushed. It's a film about mourning, as Désordre also is, I guess. Except it was my first film..."

Désordre - 9/10

L'eau froide - 10/10

Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

10/10

The first two Back To The Future movies + documentary extra features. I went and got the 25th Anniversary trilogy, so lots of stuff to view

Man, I tried to watch some of the old Star Wars movies about a month ago and just couldn't get into em anymore. They just don't hold up, they can't keep my attention. I LOVED them when I was a little kid... so I just quietly turned Empire off (I had just finished the first one) about halfway through; I'd prefer it just be a fond memory from my childhood.

messiah of evil - 8/10

Truly strange, mesmerizing, brilliant horror oddity.

Try it again on a sick day with some soup and a blanket and get really stoned...

It's perfect for me that way. When I have no energy or attention span.

Man, that sounds like a stab at Star Wars. I really do enjoy it.

But yeah, I used to want to live in that world when I was a kid haha. Doesnt have any of the mystery or magic anymore but its good in it's own way.

good news everyone!

http://www.giuseppeandrews.net

giuseppe's back -- to selling his films! Oh, he's still retired as a filmmaker, but for the first time in 1 1/2 years, almost all of his films are on sale (not all, though) again!
