Roy bloody Hodgson. Non I do not approve. He's had one too many bad stints to make him anywhere reliable. Finland, Liverpool and Blackburn being the main examples.

so its city's to lose now. with two games to go its not going to be easy but i think with qpr facing relegation they will give united a real go. i am not a fan of man city but i hate man utd so much i hope they implode.

QPR have got City not Utd, but i do think that both clubs have got tricky games in the run in.
Swansea and Sunderland will both give Utd a good game and i fancy Martin O'Neils Sunderland to get something from Utd

but then City have to go to newcastle and then QPR. I cant see QPR getting anything but Newcastle will be tough (although Wigan took them apart...)

right its qpr v city. well i think that they will give them a good game anyway but newcastle away is a tough one.

Bloody hell. If it was any other manager at Liverpool now the fans would be baying for his blood. But because it's Saint Dalglish they wont say sod all. Fucking idiots. Anyway I'll happily take a draw if Liverpool lost.

SonicBebs 05.02.2012 02:47 AM

I wonder what all the players who came out supporting Harry for England are thinking now. Bet Rio is shitting himself! Your staying at home boy! And you Terry!

Didn't Glen Johnson fall out with Roy at liverpool? So thats Kyle Walker starting then (he was probably 1st choice anyway...)

Quite a shock, that. I really thought Redknapp was nailed on for the job. I still think 'Arry would've been ideal but consider Hodgson a better manager all round and one that would've probably been favourite were it not for his disastrous stint at Liverpool. I'll definitely find it easier supporting England with him in charge, rather than Redknapp.

considering the players are a massive bunch of egocentric tits, theyre hardly gonna listen to Roys tactics are they. It doesnt really matter who we pick at this stage, we're a decade behind the French and the Germans, not to mention everyone else. The best hope we have in the Euros is playing like Chelsea did against Barcelona

That second goal that Cisse scored ... quite frankly one of the most beautiful goals I've ever seen.

it was incredible wasn't it

his first goal was pretty good too!!

i only hope for his sake he can continue this form at newcastle next season. How often do players have a great season, get signed by a bigger club and then do fuck all?

blah blah blah Chelsea

the REAL story of today...

3-3, if Spurs win both our games we're in the champions league! And I can support Chelsea in Munich.

the ikara cult 05.05.2012 02:30 PM

from the Guardian's minute-by-minute

"OK, I'll be absolutely clear about this: this match was scheduled for MBM coverage in the belief that it was being broadcast live in the UK. It is not. I am, therefore, left relying on dodgy internet streaming services. As I understand it, it is the people responsible for broadcasting these matches online who are breaking the law, and not the people watching them. If I've got this wrong, and it's the viewers who should be locked up, I'd like to make it absolutely clear that I'm not really using a dodgy internet streaming service at all. Absolutely not. Not at all. I'm am simply closing my eyes and imagining what might be happening. Honest guv.

well played west ham, and bye bye blackburn

h8kurdt 05.08.2012 04:13 PM

4-1?! What the hell happened?! Well thank GOD it wasn't the FA cup.

demonrail666 05.09.2012 04:32 AM

I've been away so missed everything. Never mind baseball, American football and basketball, that more people in the US seem to watch ice hockey than soccer has to be one of the world's great mysteries. I like all of them but, seriously, NHL bigger than MLS? I knew MLS (never mind world foorball) wasn't that big in the America but, in NY anyway, it's nigh on invisible.

even with Thiery?

you must be feeling possitive about the play offs. Reckon you'll go up?

demonrail666 05.09.2012 05:13 AM

Even with Thierry. I'm sure the big multi screen sports bars show it but all the non-specialist, one-TV bars I went to it was either ice hockey, baseball, basketball or horseracing. College basketball is bigger than MLS in NY. Although it obviously might be different elsewhere in the US.

Yeah, relieved about the play off final. It'll effectively be an away game and our away record has been excellent this season, and I do believe that on paper we're better than either Blackpool or Birmingham. But if there's one team capable of fucking themselves over in a one game must win situation, it's West Ham.

demonrail666 05.13.2012 11:04 AM

Absolutely amazing. The most tense last day of the season I think I've ever seen. Incredible.

i watched the man city qpr game and WOW!!

ps: LOL @ joey barton--what a fucking idiot!

demonrail666 05.13.2012 12:07 PM

unbelievable. I'm not a Man City fan but I desperately wanted them to finish above Man U. Over the season, Man City definitely deserve it.

Did you see Barton try to headbutt Kompany after his red card? What a pile of cunt that man is.
