Donald Trump Is Waging a War on Workers
On almost every measure, Trump is making life worse for the working class. "...This war on workers isn’t a bug, but a feature of a White House that has turned its economic plan over to Goldman Sachs alums and stocked its cabinet with “billionaires, bankers and bigots,” in the words of Senator Elizabeth Warren. Trump could have pushed to forge a bipartisan coalition to back his populist promises. Instead he chose to let the Republican majority in Congress, driven by the radical Freedom Caucus, define his priorities. In his first months in office, he has betrayed the voters who put him there. The question is when they will finally understand what has happened. Trump keeps posturing as a populist. The outrage of the day—from Comey to the Kushner family business in China—captures media attention. Policy is complicated, but the story is clear. Trump is betraying his promise on jobs and shafting workers. Progressives should make certain this reality isn’t lost in the din." https://www.thenation.com/article/do...ar-on-workers/ |

as for foreign policy, i'd much rather have kissinger in charge than a monomaniac neocon |
Also, Kissingers horrible crimes are in the past, Trimp's are sadly yet to come. That picture looks worse than anything, though...

Yes, but I've heard it argued that Kissinger helped pave the way for Trump. Bit of a leap of you ask me, but whatever. It was in a shitty documentary that somehow made it onto BBC2 or something. Looked like it was filmed by some really shitty film students. |
Kissinger is reviled by many left-leaning observers of foreign policy. They consider him an amoral egotist who enabled dictators, extended the Vietnam War, laid the path to the Khmer Rouge killing fields, stage-managed a genocide in East Timor, overthrew the democratically elected left-wing government in Chile, and encouraged Nixon to wiretap his political adversaries.

In a deal that will allow one broadcasting company to reach 72 percent of U.S. households through ownership of local news stations, it was reported this week that Sinclair Broadcast Group is buying Tribune Media for nearly $4 billion.
Such a move wouldn’t have been possible a few weeks back, but Donald Trump’s new Federal Trade Commission (FCC) chairman, Ajit Pai, just began implementing sweeping changes to previously established media ownership rules. Bloomberg |

was the guy who leaked the DNC emails, the Podesta pedophilia material that is so quickly suppressed...executed on the streets of freedom loving america The corporate broadcasting networks are full-on soviet-style propaganda. NPR is getting repulsive, weaving victim stories with the latest RUSSIA propaganda. |

Why do you keep replying to him? He's deep trolling like whaaaat. |
He's not trolling at all. I'm sure he really thinks Seth Rich was murdered by the DNC.
Maybe he was. There's not a single shred of evidence pointing to this. The family doesn't suspect the dnc. The cops don't. This private investigator Wheeler fellow changed his story yesterday afternoon, puncturing the whole conspiracy theory. But maybe. |

That's weird. Just read a pseudo-story by a pseudo-journalist on Medium about this. The conveniently timed story was about the "convenient" timing of the Washington Post's Trussia story. It's like hipocrisy has become an actual tangible (and formidable) thing. Something you can hold in your very hands, but somehow not crush. Like a tick. |
Even if he believes it, he's still trolling, trying to provoke, etc.

downloaded this the other day. Looks to be pretty good. Apparently he's involved in blood fucking diamonds, too (along with Pat Fucking Robertson)

in the 80s maybe, but some time likely before 1997 "lol" became the laugh itself not just the acronym. no? ![]() but anyway yeah what was the argument if at all? hearsay or not, im curious as to the nature of such fabulous chimera. i mean, a claim like that needs to be backed up somehow. |

Up to a certain point during the '90s, "LOL" was used by doctors and nurses in hospitals as an acronym for "little old lady". I know it because I watched E.R., so it must be true. :) |

I thought I said it was in a documentary I found in BBC... 2? Definitely didn't feel legit. I can't remember the exact argument, but Kissinger was juxtaposed with Trump and then '80s punks were lambasted and then I left the room. Pretty sure I mentioned this. I didn't mean that I felt that way. Was just bringing up a funky documentary I saw that seemed too shit for BBC by miles. Granted I saw it on someone's jail broken Firestick and Roku system (I don't really get that stuff). Anyway, not sure about the whatever and whatnot. Btw: "lol" was not standard vernacular in 1997. Seriously? Or was it? What the hell, I actually don't know. Goddamn you. |
Quote:
see, that's not quotable there at all. that documentary. it's like when trump sez shit like "people are saying that it's the biggest inauguration ever" sure. people. are saying! that's... well, irrefutable, right? i don't see the connection there. but anyway. LOL is very old, yeah. so it's now onomatopoeic because we actually laugh like that. bha ha ha ha |
Hateful graffiti that was spray painted on an Indianapolis church in November has been revealed to be a “false flag” to spread fear, done by someone opposed to Donald Trump winning the presidency.
The vandalism, which included the words “Heil Trump” and a gay slur, was actually done by George Nathaniel Stang, 26, who is a gay man himself, and a member of the church. On Wednesday, Stang was charged with a misdemeanor by Brown County Prosecutor Ted Adams. Stang claims that he vandalized St. David's Episcopal Church in an attempt to upset people into “mobilizing a movement” after the election. |

Yah neither do I. I was actually hoping someone might clue me in, since I abandoned the documentary when it started showing Patti Smith hanging out in her apartment as confirmation of death of the counter-culture, and I don't know the title. Anyway, shouldn't have said "I've heard it argued..." I knew that was a clunky way to phrase it when I wrote it, and knew it was a non-existent point. But if anyone knows the documentary I'm thinking of, let me know! It contained a snippet of Yanka Dyagileva's "My Sorrow is Luminous" (great fucking song that I wasn't aware of before seeing this doc), so if anyone happened to see it, I'm interested in seeing exactly what kind of propaganda it is. And yes I know better than using "everyone's saying it" logic. That's Trump logic. That's non-logic. Anti-logic. I'm ashamed. (Seriously though, that's a great song... everyone listen to it) |
^^ i only pestered you about it cuz i know you're good btw
